I called usvisapt, was told they don’t have the data of immigrant visas on their platform yet.

U can go with them to the embassy for ur interview and request for them to be added.it will be done there.just go with enough evidence of ur marriage and ur baby's documents.also be prepared to pay the naira equivalent of the iv fee on that day.thier medicals will be done after the interview.

Please don't follow that road that is not the way to address the issue d consular will never add derivative to ur case that way. Pls follow this step or contact me on whatapp to tell u how to go about it N.B don't attend d interview until ur family is added to ur case cause if u got ur visa without ur family been added to ur case

My father's brother, who is a US citizen, has petitioned for an F4 visa for my family, which includes my parents, myself, and two of his sisters. This brings the total number of cases to three.
Each of us was documentarily qualified in 2020 and got invited for the Visa Interview on August 12. The interview went smoothly, however, each of us was given a 221g, and the following were requested:
A. The Original NPC attestation of the Birth of the petitioner
B. An i864a for the joint sponsor of my parents and me.
All these were submitted to DHL two days after the interview. Afterward, our case status remained refused (though it was updated several times) up until September 25, when it changed to administrative processing, and on September 27, it changed to issued for my parents and me.
Ever since, we've been expecting a mail inviting us to pick up our passports and visa and up till now, we've not gotten any yet.


N.B: Since it's the same petitioner for my parents, myself, and my 2 aunts, we were requested to submit the documents to DHL together,. Although one of my aunts wasn't able to submit them together at the same time; she submitted hers afterward.
Earlier this week, both of my aunties' visa was issued. My question now is how do we get to collect our passports back? Since the us travel docs isn't active again and I've opened avits and ois profile for my parents, please what is the way forward.

Since the website has changed youd probably need then to schedule a time for pick-up with OIS .
DHL is no longer responsible for passport collection

The number turned out to be UStraveldocs contact number. They are no longer in service, so I couldn't speak to an agent.

Please how do I go about that. I put in our passports number on the ois site and it is saying passport not ready for pickup up yet.

Could it be as a result of my aunt whose passport was submitted alongside ours and her visa was issued yesterday?

Wait a bit maybe a week and check again.
Last resort go to OIS office and ask there directly.

The following are some tips I saw from the USA visit visa thread from a poster called Graciouswords

try going to the OIS/DHL location where you booked a passport collection appointment - it may likely be there - just have a copy of the passport collection appointment from the OIS website.

To book a collection appointment, follow this path: oiservices. com>book appointment>select US Visa>pick up service>

Hello, I have been having issues paying the AOS fee after getting my welcome email for the F3 category. Error message is: “There are one or more errors with your submission. Please correct the areas indicated below. Once completed, click the Make Payment button to continue: An error occurred while submitting your payment. Please try again later.”

Did anyone experience this, and how did you get around it?

Very frustrating error message. What worked for me was making sure the email entered on the form matched the email on record with the bank. However my sister faced the same issue just a few weeks later. I don't think there's a solution other than to keep trying at random hours. NVC were no help at all.

Guys, if IOM doesn't put your X-ray CD in your Medical report envelope go back and request for it because you will need it when getting a job.

Former F1 here, reclassified to F3 cos of marriage too. PD Jan 2010. Received welcome letter based on F1 in Sept 2016. Got reclassified to F3 March 2017. Got welcome letter for F3 May 2023 and DQed Sept 2023. Became current on first chart May 2024 and still waiting for IV. Proud recipient of 2 60 day notices with no idea when IV will be scheduled. So yeah, guess you have a long wait unless something miraculous happens.

We asked during the interview, but were told that they would use the contact sheet we filled to reach out.
I'm trying to login the account I just created in the new visa website as I suspect that's what's delaying, but it's quite buggy and not working. Keeps saying "User is inactive" for a new acct I just created, using "forgot password" to reset isn't working as well, nothing is being sent.
I'll keep trying

Does anyone have an answer to this question? My mother in-law has been waiting since September after the approval of all documents and forwarded to the NVC. We have not received any date for interview since then. Anyone with the same experience, please share!

Hello everyone.

Please, once the "Filing date" reaches one's priority date, how long does an applicant have to make payment of visa application fees and the affidavit of support fee?
And also the time frame to submit all necessary documents.

I heard a few unverified info about it being between 1 to 2 weeks, and another saying within three months, plus when medical is expected to be done.

This request is for the F3 category.

Our PD has now become current and we are yet to hear from them. We are also no longer resident in Nigeria and would like to have our interview done at our present country of residence, UK.

I would appreciate your guidance on the next steps to take and how to go about changing our preferred location for the interview. Also, does anyone know how long the process actually takes from the point of the PD being current and getting the visa itself, especially when applying from the UK?

Usually when the Filing date gets to your PD you will be contacted by NVC using whatever communication details they have by paper mail and email. The link to site would be there.
I do think you have up to 1 year to upload documents and pay fees.
It's definitely not 2 weeks or 3 months.
I didn't respond to mine till about 4 months.

Then you are said to be DQ when you're documents and fees have been accepted

Medicals do not come till your PD current on the main list and you have been contacted by your consulate with a date for Interview. In the letter you will be told where to do medicals
