Please throw away this mentality towards the suffering of others you have here. OP's pain and hurts are genuine. He should not need to measure it against the pain of others to determine whether he should be hurt or not. Again, please stop going around giving people this insensitive advice.

The fastest way to get relief and peace of mind is to be grateful in whatever condition you find yourself because some people are far more in miserable situation than you are.

You should visit hospitals, prison, war torn communities, natural disaster regions etc to understand that life is painful and unfair to everybody.

What the op needs to work on is his financial status. The rage burning inside him is very strong because he's yet to make it. Once he succeed and start enjoying life, he will find it easy to forget the pain of the past.

Where did you read all of that? Anyways, what is he/she going to do? I think he/she should still forgive her, for her own good.

2. She did not know she was emotionally abusing her child by rendering curses on him. She should be respected for being older even though she criminally assaulted her child and contributed to damaging even his future by it. WOW!! you folks ehn!

Learn to rise above hate, by letting go of the past, forging ahead with more confidence, that God, even forgives,
so we must.
Its gonna be quite hard for a while, but try to show her love, now the she shows remorse.
Remember, true love, and time, heals all broken hearts.

Growing up, my mother did a lot of terrible things to me even till I became an adult. I'm 40 now and she's aged.

She's trying to be kind to me now and I've forgiven her or so I thought. My life didn't turn out well the way I wanted because of her curse and evil mind towards me.

She regrets everything now and I have moved on but the memories fail to leave me. I've tried as much as possible to forget those things but I can't and each time I remember them I feel this rage inside of me.

That, is a very silly and very sad way to live your life — going around comparing yourself with others.

He has no peace and is filled with anger... it has mentally messed him up... and all you have to say is that he needs to work on his financial status. OP does not seem to be struggling with the forgiveness part but the getting over the issues part to me... you religious folks like to place importance on that which really should only matter where people are pursuing religious ideals. OP is simply trying to work out his life really.

Forgiving others don't make you religious or make you forget, it's just part of being human and I'm not religious by any stretch. Getting over it and the rage he talked about is from the fact that he hasn't forgiven her. With true forgiveness he will have peace and the rage will disappear. He will be doing himself a big favor by letting go or he can let you help keep him in an emotional rollercoaster rather than start the healing process he needs to get on with his life.
