The South South oil money is shared as allocations.
What is the FG sharing from the North?
Re: See #5,000 Yam In My Location Niger State! by Edipet(m): 7:29pm On Oct 15, 2024
things are cheap over there, we just came to the south to hustle for nothing, at the end we go use our hustle money to buy just food and pay rent. it's better to stay in the north.

Funny enough, some other southerners even justify the reckless extortion by fellow compatriots in their regions and not even see evil in it. I read in this same forum here where some market women arrested their fellow woman that she was selling garri way more cheaper than them and as such will ruin the market for them, I don't know if anyone could remember that story here. I shocked my head in dismay at the reading through the news. It was pathetic and too bad. Arrogance In illegality. Some goods produced in the south that are shipped down here to the north are more cheaper here in the north than the southern region where it was originally produced or manufactured despite paying for transportation cost to bring it down here, yet it's still cheaper. Clothes, building materials to electrical fittings are way more cheaper here. I don't know why it is so over there. Some even brag about buying a cloth or a shirt for #25,000 there of which #10 to #15,000 could get the same equivalent of same quality here.
Most of those justifying the removal of subsidy that has led to the improvershement of millions of Nigerians are southerners.

Southerners are a problem to themselves and the country at large but are quick to label the north as a drawback to their progress.

In the south, greed is business. If not for terrorism that has ravaged the north, most northerners have no business here in the south.

How many of that yams is N5,000?
Reason I asked is one tuber the seller called 5k is about 6 times the size of one of these.

That was even the asking price as I didn’t price it at all.

Na, we don't do that here sir, I can't even buy to resell here, who's going to buy from mehuh Where everywhere is yam all through. And don't even think I'll bother buying to transport to the southern region, I didn't have that mental capacity. For an average northerner, a little profit just slightly above the cost price is just okay for him and that is contentment...wealth comes from the lord and not by selfishness and greed!

That is it.

It is irritating seeing people like the op trying to justify rising costs caused by the incompetence of the APC.

too bad and very pathetic! Most think duping each other is wiseness....no, it's an outright foolishness! Wiseness should makes things easier for whoever possesses wisdom and not complicate things to sound smart

It seems our too-know in the South is really our undoing. We are selfish, greedy, hypocritical and full of pretence. We will be the ones pinching ourselves and still be crying of pains.
Plus na we know how to cry and complain pass... Very wicked people undecided

If not Shebi it is cheap in Niger state, take some money and buy even if it is quarter truck of yam, bring it down to mile 12, Abi don't you want money?
Oboy, no be beans, garri ewa and dodo..
