I can relate with your MO, that's how I started. In 2017, I was making my monthly salary in 2weeks of just driving after work and weekends. Then I thought to myself so if I sleep all day and drive only in d evening on week days and all day weekends for just two weeks, I have made the same amount I suffer myself all day for 4weeks?. Meaning if I dedicate my whole day to suffer on ehailing, I will make four times my salary. The decision to resign and enter ehailing fulltime was not hard to make at all. And I haven't regretted it ever since. As a salary earner, I deduct transport and fuel money from my salary. But when I started ehailing, transport was not in my budget again. So I made even more money. I still lived my life as if I was earning my salary and all extras went into savings. I was buying 1 additional car every year couple with building projects and other business establishments.
When I entered this thread and all I saw was complains, mediocrity and oven lighting discussions. I was like no, this narrative has to change. How can u have a goldmine and not recognize it. Reason why I don't keep quiet o, and many people see me as an enemy. I know I have changed mindsets and Influenced alot of people positively and I will still be here to motivate and encourage. It's left for people to choose what they want to believe. All I have said, the same people that say it's a lie, will secretly go and try and see it is possible and be enjoying it silently and will not come and tell the people they discouraged what they are enjoying.

So to every newbie here, before u follow person, ask am where him dey come from and where him dey go. Don't follow people and forget ur own circumstances and where u are coming from. They will tell u, u r driving like headless chicken around Lagos, they will say u are slaving from sun rise to sun set, they will say u are carrying olosho from hotel to night club, they will come ones in a while and peep to ask "una still dey drive?" Don't pay an ounce of attention to them, focus and face ur front... Do what u have to do to make d benjamins. Most of them are either begging for children's school fees, house rent or food.
From this work, people have turned landlord, from this work people have paid their tuition abroad, from this hussle people have sponsored their family japa, from this work people have become multiple car owners, from this work people have raised capital to set themselves up in their dream business and careers. Don't let people with no future ambition derail u.
Cheers to all the people putting in the grind consistently.

Currently in Edo state, I took my corolla instead of the camry, worst decision made, the corolla really messed me up on the way, it started jerking off seriously, I thought it was the plug, so I took it to a road side mechanic village at ore to help me change the plugs, we put tokunbo plugs and started it but it was still jerking off seriously, the coils are good, so they checked the nozzle and realized one nozzle isn't working, no where to get the nozzle around, I just have to manage it down to Edo with the way it's jerking, Alhamdulilah, we arrived Edo safely, thinking of how to get back to Lagos rn with the condition of the car...

Don't try to drive it like that, all the way back to Lag. it will worsen.
U will spend almost double the normal fuel consumption.
Depending on what's causing the jerking, the engine may off and not start until after a while, pray this doesn't happen in d bush.

I noticed the fuel was just going down, but I don't trust this mechanics over here, will have to manage it down to Lagos...

Corolla isn't a difficult car to fix. No how u will not get a good mechanic to fix the problem, just don't tell them u are not from Benin and don't tell them u want to travel. Don't risk coming back to Lag if the vibration is very bad.
But na u Sabi how bad the jerking is, so u can decide.

Only you know why you took the decision but IMO I'd suggest you shouldn't have stopped when there's nothing to fall back on or biz to continue with. You cannot be sitting idle at home. It's not good for a man. I know you've made good money on e-hailing but if it's not quickly put into another biz or investment, you will continue to spend it and the thing go dey go down small small.

I wish you well my brother

Good job sir, that PMS figure is huge if you're using a 1.6-1.8 engine, except perhaps you're using a bigger engine..If it's a 1.8 engine, maybe you should be around 580-600k..You may want to fine-tune a little more..
Nevertheless, you're not doing badly at all..68 trip no be moin-moin...I no envy u.
With this, all the lazy driver asking for weekly remittance of less than 50k should hug the nearest transformer. They should just wait till tomorrow when national grid go don restore power ..
Weldone sir...I like hardworking guys.

At a time when roads are not safe, you are willing to risk your life by driving a malfunctioning car

What is complex in a Corolla? You already know it is your nozzle. Why not buy nozzle and find a guy to change it?

Benz and Audi is common in Benin..Na Corolla mechanic go confuse to fix?

No risk your life oh. Don't let that car keep you stranded on a dangerous highway.

Rich and ehailing are not to be found in the same sentence sir... I'm not sure people doing ehailing are doing it because they want to be rich.....Guys just want to be able to pay their bills, eat, chop fish for under bridge Costain...Hopefully, they get to diversify someday.
