The most surprising thing is that Northern elites were in power under Buhari for eight years. Core northerners occupied more than 90% of all juicy Federal appointments. One would think that by now, the North of Nigeria would be a mini paradise, but NO.

They used the national resources to empower themselves and their families. They moved to Abuja, sent their children abroad. Anytime they visited their villages, they gave the poor masses peanuts and mobilized thugs to terrorize their political opponents. They corrupted Clergy to preach their sentiments while the masses yawned with hunger.

The annoying thing is that, next elections, they will forget about the hunger and those who caused it, and STILL vote along political, ethnic and religious lines 😔💔💔💔
