From the little I can gather fromm the news publication, the late Wigwe's father asked one of his cousins to submit an affidavit to Ikeja probate court registry . He's complaining about the role Aig-Imoukhuede has been playing taking care of late Wigwe's kids and that Aig did not provide him a list of all assets of the late Wigwe. The author of the article is interpreting it to mean an attempt by the father to alter the provision of the will which leaves all his assets to his kids. The way I see it, the father may not really need the money but his other children who are Late Wigwe's siblings may be trying to use the father fight for something for themselves out of the fortune he left behind. They probably don't believe he will not leave them anything. Or maybe they don't trust Aig in disclosing all the assets late WIgwe may have within and outside the country. But what I know about Wills & Trusts is that the deceased would've listed all his assets while he's preparing the will/trust and when it is time to execute the will, the executors will be the ones to harvest all the assets . So I really don't understand the family's problem. |
