I understand your point, and I can't imagine the pain his loved ones must be going through; but all I'm asking is for us to protect vulnerable people like this young man. Let's cut off the neck of this problem before more people end up like this man. I know what exactly how he felt because I've been there.

I hate the fact that he ended up causing more pain to his loved ones but he was not lazy.

I searved from 8 yrs till am 22yrs without settlement . I start hustling 24 years later the man that refuse to settle me is now a caretaker in one of my building and one of his daughter is a sales girl in my shop . Man is not God . Let's keep believing .

Please, pardon my curiosity, what does serve and setlement mean? I don't understand. I mean, did he work for 7 years and didn't get paid? or he served prison sentence for 7 years. I read served with hard labour so i ask.

I know Igbo guys will continue to doubt it even when deep down they know this is true. Many like the man have died due to frustration from their masters. Many resolved to carry drugs when all hope are died. Many of those that took the hard and grevious ways are serving long term jail in pakistan, Indonesia and Cambodia.
