This has been one of my safety fears about CNG.
The CNG cars are not weather friendly here in Sub Saharan Africa.
Anything that will over heat them, will be a threat for a possible explosion.
The government should take petrol pump price back to 200 naira.
In Libya, petrol pump price is 52naira per liter.
That is a country that is recovering from civil war.

the joke is still on you. Just because CNG is safe no mean say make you use fake cylinder and employ quack technician to fix it. Original CNG cylinders are bullet proof. That should tell you how strong they are. If you cook with LPG wch is more dangerous, you can drive with natural gas which occurs freely in nature. Nigeria as a country is sitting on large deposit of natural gas and e never explode.

Edo state has adopted CNG for over 5 years how many of such occurrences have you heard of? That should tell you that the recent rush for CNG conversion has also brought about fake products and quack technicians.
