Obaseki is a fraud, he didn't pay all the states workers the 70k and did not even pay any local government staff the 70k minimum wage.

Believe Obaseki at your own peril. The Gov who rebagged the FG donated palliative rice and kept from the Edo people will not be willing to pay N70k except for the political reasons that is now defeated.

However, several states, including Jigawa, Zamfara, Nasarawa, Akwa Ibom, and Bayelsa, have not yet shown readiness to implement the minimum wage.

At least acknowledge Obaseki of Edo state for being the first state to implimemt 70k minimum wage while Labour and the Federal Government were still battling it. Before then he was paying 40k which is 10k above 30k minimum wage. He is among the best civil servant friendly governors in Nigeria.

The writer is a dubious person. See how he casually tucks Obaseki obscurely in the bin, while placing state governors that woke up only yesterday ahead of him.
