America is continuing from where the Brits and French stopped.
America is still holding on to Guam, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, and American Samoa.

Do you know that residents of these territories cannot vote in next month's US Presidential Elections.
But they pay taxes to the U.S.

They are all the same.
America is their enforcer.
They gave independence and then demanded we all play by their ever-changing rules that they can unilaterally flout at any time.
Failure to abide by these rules mean sanctions and horrendous economic conditions.
And then they have 100+ bases and 11 floating bases to intimidate everyone into compliance.

I hate the Mullahs.
But they were right when they called the U.S., the Great Satan.
If you want to create anything of note without strict compliance to the State Department in Washington, nothing quite captures the essence of the U.S. as that label.

You're viewing his harsh commentary as extremism.
But it does belie a crucial point.

Writer and many observers, myself included, note that the US is for the most part safe and cannot be easily invaded.
He believes this lack of primal fear has emboldened the Americans to act recklessly.
And so he wants to shatter this cloak of invincibility.
The only way to shatter it and strike a mortal blow is with a nuke.

Japan already tried the conventional attack on a military target.
It led to Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
So from a military analyst's viewpoint, a limited attack targeting a military installation will have the same effect as Pearl Harbor.
It is expected that the retaliation will be total in nature as it was in Japan. As such, the only proper first or retaliatory strike should be a high-casualty overwhelming attack. Only nukes can provide that. The US is geographically large and populous.

What you consider extremism is the floor in the Russian Ministry of Defense.
A Russian attack on mainland US will not be calibrated because the Americans never fight wars in a measured manner.
And since Russia's population is 120m to the US 340m, there's really not much room for flexibility.

So it's not like he hates Americans, or at least that's not my impression.
It's more of, these are the rules of war.
Secretary Albright did not have a problem with the death of 500,000 Iraqi children.

Lastly, it does appear to me that many on this thread do not quite grasp the dangerous state of the planet.
This is not 2008 when Obama was chanting change, Medvedev was billed as a new chapter for Russia, Xi was still Vice President, and the exciting cosmos of smartphones and social media was still in its infancy.
The US is facing off the most potent challenge to its primacy since the Soviet Union.
And unlike the Soviet Union, the Axis Powers have their backs against the wall.
There is no off-ramp. Dissolution of Russia is unthinkable. The fall of the CCP + a demographic collapse will almost certainly usher in several decades of turmoil in China.
So you best believe that what you consider extreme is only one item on the checklist.
