This is the story of 3 Men who were joined together in the rough skirmishes of life via the most implausible channel—The Church!

Pastor Femi James Jimoh, Pa Caleb Oloruntele and Mr. Henry Aiyewero all went through the valley of the shadow of death during their over 8 Years’ incarceration in jail gulags from terrible police stations to proper maximum prisons in a case that was later trashed and thrown out by the Court of Law.

The trio were allegedly roped by unscrupulous police officers in conjunction with other unethical elements and accused of plotting to rob a church—Mountain of Fire and Miracle (MFM) and assassinate the founder, one Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, a PhD holder in micro-Biology science.

The case started from early January Year 2008 as both Pastor Femi Jimoh, Pa Caleb Oloruntele and Mr. Henry Aiyewero were arrested at different time and location as stated in court papers even though their accusers, MFM and their allies want the world to believe otherwise.

When the story of their miraculous escape from what appeared like a schemed death trap went viral last month via Yoruba Gidi TV, many conscientious citizens home and abroad were astounded at the level a church of God can go to roast their own members and throw them to the devil to devour!

Even though the Church in what appeared like a contempt of court did a press conference to debunk allegations of inference in the 9 Years Jail Horror of the three victims (now addressed as The Three Hebrew Men).

HOWEVER, more revelations continue to trail the allegations that MFM sponsored the misfortune that landed both Pastor Femi Jimoh, Pa Caleb Oloruntele & Mr. Henry Aiyewero in the 9 Years jail horror.

Justice appeared to be delayed initially but was eventually SERVED. Special thanks to God Almighty and the benevolent soul called JUSTICE O.A. WILLIAMS (Mrs) of the High Court, Igbosere, Lagos.

The two workers; (Femi Jimoh and Caleb Oloruntele) also secured an industrial court judgement against MFM last Year December over backlog of salaries and unpaid arrears of over 15 years inclusive of their 9 Years jail tenure.

Asabe Afrika TV and other media organizations with the Human Right Community met the trio on Tuesday July 4, 2024 and we listened to their story all over again. (Watch our Previous Videos for more)

In this Video, Elder brother to PA Caleb Oloruntele, Alhaji Lateef Oloruntele visited the Human Right Centre in Ibadan Oyo State to express the level of distress his family went through to secure the release of his younger brother (Caleb, a former Muslim who turned Christian only to allegedly regret his action when he joined MFM). It is a moving story that reflected the level of pressure and challenges the family faced including loss of material and human resources.

There is more to learn for education on the part of everyday Christians and for reforms on the part of Government.

Take a sit and follow the story!

It is a story of narrow escape from death!

MFM PASTORS' JAIL SAGA: How I Would Have Handled It--Prophetess AJELOWO + Speaks on OBJ, MOHBAD

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sftkIaJRzM0?si=2HeRb7U1tPv-mGZb

Popularly known as the MIRACLE WOMAN OF LAGOS, PROPHETESS MODUPE AJELOWO is a woman of extreme humility and a pure heart to humanity. A woman of Prudence and Excellence in His sight (Proverbs 19:14 and Proverbs 13:10)

She was called to serve in the vineyard against her parent's (especially her father, an Ifa priest's wish) by the divine hand of God as a Prophetess of the Most High God Almighty for all races.

After several years of encounter with the Holy Spirit and tutelage under other ministers, veteran Gospel Musician Evangelist OJO ADE in a rare revelation pointed to her gift of prophecy and urged her to pursue her own calling and ministry.

Having risen through a very humble background to attain prominence that made her dined with Kings and Queens, Prophetess Ajelowo maintains a low profile which further attracts people to her calling and her ministry.

BEFORE She jetted out to the United State of America in the second week of August Year 2024, the gifted female minister of God spoke to Asabe Afrika TV on recent crisis in the church and why Christian Leaders must imbibe the spirit of forgiveness and shun wickedness.

The Woman of God who runs THE GOD OF GLORY MIRACLE MINISTRY by Ajigbotosho Street, Mercy-land Estate, Atankekere Ipaja-Ayobo area of Lagos with her husband reacted to the recent Mountain of Fire and Miracle (MFM) Church saga where some workers (Pastor Femi Jimoh, Pa Caleb and a non-member Henry Aiyewero) were alleged to have spent 9 years in detention on the strength of allegation by the church that they wanted to rob the church and kidnap the leader Dr. DK Olukoya.

Many critics including mainstream Christians frowned at the role of the church as the three men (3 Hebrew Men) went through death before God delivered them through Honorable Justice O.A. Williams. They later got another judgment via the industrial Court mandating the church to pay their salaries with interest but the church refused until the men came to the press.

The gifted Prophetess has a message for church leaders and others.

Find out more about more in this final part of the red exclusive encounter.

Olukoya's MFM Church Loses Two Cases Against Social Media Influencer, Funke Ashekun In U.S. Court

A District Court of Maryland, United States has set aside two cases filed by the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) against a Nigerian social media influencer and YouTuber Mrs. Funke Ashekun over alleged electronics communication harassment.

One of the lawsuits was filed by Adekunle Adekola, former personal assistant to the General Overseer of the church, Dr. Daniel Olukoya, now a pastor at MFM Rockville branch, Maryland.

The second lawsuit was filed by Kunle Ladipo, who is the MFM pastor for Bowie branch, Maryland.

The duo accused Ashekun of using her social media platforms to harass them since January 4, 2022.

She was accused of describing one of the pastors as the leader of a street gang in Lagos before becoming Olukoya’s PA.

In a document handwritten by one of the plaintiffs, Ladipo, which was obtained by SaharaReporters, he accused Ashekun of videos that harass and create harmful narratives about him.

He alleged that Ashekun accused him of committing illegal and immoral acts with no proof or justification.

The statement partly reads, "From January 4, 2022 and ongoing, Ashekun Funke has used her Facebook & YouTube platform to harass, hound and alarm me (Olakunle Ladipo)

"Ashekun continues to harass, defame and annoy Olakunle Ladipo through video posts and Facebook posting. Also through her live segments she uploads on YouTube and Facebook weekly.

"Maryland law against electronic harassment states that misuse of electronic communication or interactive computer service has been committed.

"A person maliciously engages in a course of conduct, through the use of electronic communication that alarms or seriously annoys another with the intent to harass, alarm or annoy the other.

"Ashekun has continued to post harassing videos. In those videos, she created harmful narratives, harass me, Olakunle Ladipo and accused me of committing illegal and immoral acts with no proof or justification. On February 20, 2024, MFM sent a cease and desist letter to Ashekun, she simply ignored the cease and desist letter, she continues to post malicious content in spite of receiving a reasonable request.

"Ashekun, without legal justification continues to electronically accuse, persecute and harass me, Olakunle Ladipo and my colleagues on various videos posts and platforms.

"This shows her clear intent to continue her campaign of defamation and online harassment."

The cases were heard on October 11, 2024 by Judge John C. Moffett, according to the court document obtained by SaharaReporters.

“The two cases were set aside and discontinued for lack of evidence,” Ashekun said.

"The Court's finding is as follows: ELEC COMM HARASS, Plea-Other Plea Verdict-Nolle Prosequi," the document reads.

With the recent judgement, Ashekun has triumphed against MFM in four cases within 10 months, SaharaReporters learnt.

The first one was delivered on January 24, 2024, while the second one was delivered on April 18, 2024.

Following the recent victory, Ashekun told SaharaReporters that Olukoya used his pastors and branches in the US to slam her with four court cases in 2024 alone.

She said, "I thank God that the criminal cases initiated by two MFM pastors against me have been dismissed. DK Olukoya really tried to use his structures on the ground in America to oppress and gag me so that his atrocities and oppression of his members would not be exposed to the world but he keeps failing.

"He has used his pastors and branches in the US to slam me with four court different cases within this year alone, that’s an abuse of court process.”

"I know justice will prevail because all I say about him is true!" she added.

VIDEO: How I Made Up Lies Against US-Based Nigerian Influencer Ashekun And Husband For Criticising MFM Founder Olukoya –Church’s Media Consultant

A man identified as Olawale Michael, also known as Akbar EG or Olemisi, has publicly admitted to fabricating and spreading false allegations against a former chorister at Pastor Olufemi Asekun, and his wife, Mrs. Olufunke Asekun for criticising Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) and its founder, Daniel Olukoya.

In a video obtained by SaharaReporters, Michael confessed that he deliberately spread lies about the Asekuns to discredit them, particularly after Mrs. Funke Asekun criticised MFM and its General Overseer, Daniel Olukoya. He admitted that his actions were intended to silence her criticisms of the church.

Michael explained that the conflict started in 2020 after he saw a video of Mrs. Asekun. Disturbed by her remarks, he decided to counter her views publicly, sparking an online feud that intensified over the next two years.

By late 2021 and throughout 2022, he actively campaigned against the Asekun family, spreading damaging falsehoods, including an unfounded accusation of adultery against Mr. Olufemi Asekun.

Michael now expresses deep regret for his actions, admitting that his claims were baseless and aimed solely at damaging the Asekuns' reputation.

He revealed that Mrs. Funke Asekun confronted him directly and cursed him for his falsehoods. Despite their exchanges, he continued his attacks with the support of others, including Ziba Shemilore Omologo and Opeyemi Manuel.

Now fearing for his safety, Michael said he felt compelled to confess and seek forgiveness despite potential threats to his life.

"If I die for speaking the truth, so be it," he declared.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30EHm9IEE7o

Michael offered a heartfelt apology to the Asekun family and anyone else he may have harmed.

He urged the public to acknowledge his confession by sharing the video, stressing that his words were genuine and sincere.

Michael’s full statement: "Good afternoon, everyone. Good afternoon to all of you around the world.

"Normally, I wouldn’t make a video like this, but at this point, I feel compelled to do so. I swear that everything I am about to say is the truth. This is as sacred as the Bible.

"Everything I say this afternoon is true. I know that, in the end, I could be killed. If anything happens to me, even though my family may not be able to fight for me—because they have warned me repeatedly—I have to save myself from the consequences of actions I took to please someone else. I know many people will be against me.

"They may already be hunting for me. I know many things could happen, but I just have to make this video to apologise to the entire family. I want to apologise to the entire family of Mr. Olufemi Asekun and Mrs. Olufunke Asekun, as well as others, though their case is not as significant. I spoke badly about this family.

"Yes, I spoke ill of them. Please help me by liking this video so that it can gain visibility. I won’t be able to make any more videos after this. I need to say something quickly, and I will be brief. Please, help me by liking this video so I know people are listening.

"Most people know me as Olawale Michael, Akbar EG, or Olemisi. I am from Edo State but was born and raised in Lagos, specifically in Ebutemeta. This video I am making today is honest—it is nothing but the truth. There is no deceit or cunning in this video, and I swear by everything in the Bible.

"Let me start from the beginning. This all began around the end of 2020. After COVID-19, I came across a video by Mrs. Funke Asekun, where she was speaking about MFM (Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries) and its General Overseer. I was shocked that she would say such things. I expected her husband to advise her against it, but instead, I started speaking out against her.

"By the end of 2021 and into 2022, I began actively debunking her statements. Whenever she said something, I would go online to counter her. This escalated fully in 2022. I remember receiving a text message from Mrs. Funke Asekun herself. She cursed me, saying I was lying about her and her husband. She said I would never prosper, no matter what I did.

"I exchanged harsh words with her that day. She cursed me repeatedly, and I responded in kind. I even involved others like Ziba Shemilore Omologo and Opeyemi Emmanuel to join me in speaking against her. We spread lies about her and her husband, claiming that Mr. Olufemi Asekun had committed adultery with a church member. This was a complete lie, and I take full responsibility for it.

"I lied to tarnish their reputation, hoping it would make her stop speaking against MFM. But she didn’t stop. Instead, she continued to curse me, and I continued to attack her. I now realise that what I did was wrong. Mr. Olufemi Asekun is a good man, a man of God, and I lied about him. I deeply regret my actions.

"I want to apologise to the entire Asekun family, especially Mr. Olufemi Asekun and Mrs. Olufunke Asekun. I spoke ill of them, and I was wrong. I also want to apologise to others I may have hurt in the process. I know that my life may be in danger for making this video, but I feel it is necessary to set the record straight.

"I know that many people will come after me for this, but I am ready to face the consequences. If I die for speaking the truth, so be it. I just want to clear my conscience and apologise to those I have wronged."

Meanwhile, Mrs. Funke Asekun has filed a petition with police in Maryland and Nevada, calling for an investigation into Dr. Daniel Olukoya, the General Overseer of MFM.

In her petition, titled "Rescue MFM Church Victims from Dr. DK Olukoya," Asekun alleges that Olukoya has exploited his position of authority to prey on single mothers and young women from vulnerable backgrounds. She claims he has used spiritual guidance and prayer as a guise for abuse, accusing him of systematic exploitation.

Asekun further asserts that many victims have refrained from speaking out due to fear of retaliation, enabling these alleged actions to persist unchecked. She has urged law enforcement to scrutinise Olukoya’s activities beyond his religious leadership.

The petition claimed that Olukoya leveraged his international church branches, including those in the US, to initiate lawsuits against individuals attempting to expose him. It was further alleged that he avoids court appearances by delegating legal actions to others.

Asekun urged immediate investigation into these claims and, if warranted, accountability for Olukoya. She stressed the importance of addressing the alleged abuse of power and violations of fundamental human rights, emphasising that the community must not ignore such concerns.

She concluded by calling on authorities to protect those allegedly affected by Olukoya’s manipulation and exploitation while taking steps to prevent further harm to vulnerable individuals.

Nigerian social media influencer and YouTuber Mrs Funke Ashekun has alleged that the General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), Dr Daniel Olukoya, grabbed her, placed his forehead against hers, and hypnotised her in his counselling room.

In an exclusive interview with SaharaReporters, Ashekun, who spent nearly 20 years in the church and served as a minister, shared her disturbing experiences.

She was actively involved in the church’s visionary work, travelled abroad to train ministers in worship, and led the singles' fellowship known as Padu.

Ashekun recounted an unsettling incident that allegedly took place when she visited Olukoya’s office—not for deliverance, but to submit an official report about a recent singles' fellowship programme.

Her husband had become a full-time church worker, and she had also been made a full-time worker.

“Without any warning, Olukoya pulled me close and placed his forehead against mine,” she recalled. “He then said, ‘Look straight into my eyes.’

“The moment I did, I felt something very unsettling—almost hypnotic. I couldn’t understand what was happening, but it felt deeply uncomfortable.”

Ashekun admitted that at the time, she did not suspect anything sinister because Olukoya was known for preaching about holiness and deliverance.

She shared that after moving to the U.S., she started receiving messages from several women who said they had gone through the same experience.

“They told me that every time he did this, they would lose consciousness,” she said.

“That was when I realised—it wasn’t just an uncomfortable moment; it was hypnotism. Thank God I didn’t lose consciousness that day. Otherwise, I, too, might have become one of his victims.”

Before leaving Nigeria, Ashekun said she encountered a woman who had been suicidal due to years of alleged sexual abuse by Olukoya.

“She was brought to my husband and me for prayers. That was the first time I heard allegations of sexual assault against Olukoya. I was shocked—this was happening in the same church we attended?”

According to Ashekun, multiple women came forward with similar stories. Olukoya allegedly targeted vulnerable women—young girls from the youth church, single mothers, and women in financial distress—under the guise of spiritual deliverance.

“He would tell them, ‘There is a snake in your womb. That is why you cannot settle down maritally.’ Then, under the pretence of deliverance, he would take them inside his private toilet,” Ashekun stated.

“When I first exposed this, many people attacked me, saying, ‘There is no toilet in that office! We’ve been going there for years!’ But not everyone was allowed in. The victims insisted that he only took certain people there.”

She further alleged that during these sessions, Olukoya would claim he needed to anoint their private parts, using this as a means to assault them.

She noted that some victims reported experiencing strange spiritual attacks after these encounters.

“One woman told me that after he assaulted her, he cleansed the fluid from her private area. As Africans, we know what that means. That sounds like a ritual,” she said.

One of the most shocking revelations came when victims disclosed that Olukoya allegedly recorded the assaults without their consent.

“After these encounters, they would receive video clips from him—recordings of themselves during the assault,” Ashekun claimed.

“One of the victims sent me a video. I watched it. And I saw Olukoya himself—reaching for the camera to turn it off.”

She alleged that members of Olukoya’s inner circle have confirmed he possesses advanced recording gadgets disguised as pens, buttons, or small objects.

Ashekun mentioned an individual named Akweji, who reportedly worked as an agent for Olukoya, helping to procure women for him.

“He admitted this on my show. He confirmed that Olukoya forwarded some of these recorded videos to a third party,” she said.

Ashekun lamented that she has struggled to get mainstream media outlets to report on these allegations due to fear of retaliation.

According to her, Olukoya retaliates against whistleblowers by filing multiple lawsuits.

“I am currently facing four lawsuits here in the U.S.,” she added.

Attempts to contact the MFM spokesman, Mr. Collins Edomaruse, for a response to the allegations were unsuccessful.

NEWS

A group of women under the banner of the Concerned Mothers Advocacy Group have staged a protest at the headquarters of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), Abuja.

They demanded a full-scale investigation into mounting allegations of sexual abuse, intimidation, and exploitation levelled against Dr. Daniel Olukoya, the General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM).

The protesters, some visibly emotional and carrying placards, submitted a detailed petition to the Director-General of NAPTIP on Friday, calling for immediate action.

The petition signed by one Dipo Olujobi outlined accusations ranging from sexual assault and blackmail to legal intimidation and systemic cover-ups allegedly orchestrated by the church’s leadership.

The women explained that religious leaders must not be allowed to exploit vulnerable individuals under the guise of faith, emphasising that NAPTIP must act urgently to ensure justice for victims and prevent further abuse.

The petition read in part: “We, the Concerned Mothers Advocacy Group, urgently call on NAPTIP to investigate the grave allegations against Dr. Daniel Olukoya, General Overseer of MFM, including systemic sexual abuse, intimidation, and exploitation of congregants. These acts violate multiple Nigerian laws and demand immediate intervention.

"Background of Allegations: Legal Intimidation: Former MFM minister Funke Ashekun, a 20-year member, alleged that Dr. Olukoya uses proxy lawsuits to silence critics, draining them financially. According to Ashekun, pastors transferred from Nigeria file suits on his behalf to avoid direct involvement. She reportedly faced four lawsuits in the U.S., resulting in a $50,000 fine, while another victim, Badejo, was allegedly bankrupted in the U.K.

"Sexual Abuse and Blackmail: Multiple women have accused Dr. Olukoya of sexual assault, allegedly recorded using disguised devices such as pens and buttons. Akpeji Daniel, a former associate, reportedly admitted on record to procuring women for Olukoya and confirmed the sharing of illicit videos.

"Systemic Cover-Ups: Victims fear retaliation, with reports of violent attacks—including a pastor who was shot in the leg and a church member who narrowly escaped execution in 2008."

The petition also noted that the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has not publicly disowned Olukoya, despite claims that he is not a registered member.

"Legal Violations: The allegations contravene several Nigerian laws, including: Violence Against Persons (Prohibition) Act (VAPP) 2015:

"Section 1: Prohibits sexual violence and coercion; Section 18: Criminalizes intimidation and emotional/psychological abuse.

"Criminal Code Act (Sections 357–364): Criminalizes sexual assault, blackmail, and unauthorized recordings; Cybercrimes (Prohibition and Prevention) Act 2015: Section 24: Prohibits unauthorised interception or recording of private communications.

"Nigerian Constitution (1999): Section 34: Guarantees human dignity and freedom from inhuman or degrading treatment.

"Child Rights Act (2003): Included as a precaution in case minors are found to be involved.

The group urged NAPTIP to: Launch an Independent Investigation: probe allegations of sexual abuse, intimidation, and exploitation within MFM; collaborate with Relevant Agencies:

"Work with the Nigerian Police, National Human Rights Commission, and INTERPOL to investigate cross-border elements of the case; Protect Victims and Whistleblowers: Secure witness testimonies using the VAPP Act’s protection provisions; Review MFM’s Legal Practices; Investigate the use of proxy lawsuits as a potential abuse of judicial processes; Engage Religious Bodies and seek clarification from the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) regarding Olukoya’s membership and hold religious leaders accountable.

“The gravity of these allegations threatens the sanctity of religious institutions and the safety of vulnerable Nigerians. We implore NAPTIP to act swiftly, leveraging its mandate under Section 4(d) of the Trafficking in Persons (Prohibition) Enforcement and Administration Act 2015 to address exploitation and uphold justice.”

"The petition is backed by sworn testimonies, legal documentation, and a firm commitment to justice," the group noted.

NAPTIP officials acknowledged receipt of the petition and assured the protesters that the agency would review the allegations in accordance with its legal mandate.

The Director-General of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), Binta Adamu Bello, has directed an immediate investigation into mounting allegations levelled against Dr Daniel Olukoya, the General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM).

The allegations include sexual abuse, intimidation, and exploitation.

Vincent Adekoye, the Chief Press Officer, NAPTIP who confirmed receipt of a petition detailing the alleged abuses, to SaharaRepoeters on Saturday assured the public that the agency was taking the matter seriously.

NAPTIP reiterated its zero-tolerance stance on all forms of abuse and exploitation, particularly those involving vulnerable individuals.

'The Director of NAPTIP, Binta Adamu Bello, has directed immediate investigation into the issues raised in the petition. The DG is a passionate and caring person who is concerned with the plight of all, so she will ensure that justice is served in the matter where necessary," Vincent said.

SaharaRepoeters had reported how a group of women under the banner of the Concerned Mothers Advocacy Group staged a protest at the headquarters of NAPTIP in Abuja.

They had demanded a full-scale investigation into mounting allegations of sexual abuse, intimidation, and exploitation levelled against Dr. Olukoya, the MFM General Overseer.
