Tinubu should have done rail transportation rather than constructing that useless coastal road all in the name to enrich his cronies.

Why can't the FG key into this, and make transport by train available allover the country.

I know NRC still have trains operating, but it doesn't go every, like road transport. It's even safer to transport goods by train track, rather by road all the time.
State governors.

States now have the right to set up intra state rail. Governors should stop sucking their thumbs and show workings.

LAMATA originally proposed these 7 lines during the administration of Governor Bola Tinubu, but there have been some modifications since then.

1) Blue line: Okokomaiko-Marina
2) Red Line: Agbado-MMIA-Marina
3) Green Line: Lekki Airport-Marina
4) Yellow Line: Otta-Iddo
5) Purple Line: Redeemed Camp-Ojo
6) Brown Line: Mile 12 - Marina
7) Orange Line: Redeemed Camp-Marina
I like how the purple line, yellow line and red line have all entered Ogun state.

It won't cripple public transportation (I assume that you are referring to buses).

Trains can't go everywhere and buses will be needed at the train stations to take commuters to their final destinations.

If Tinubu started rail transportation rather than that useless coastal road you will still complain. You don't like the man. Simple!

Always having excuses for failure. Meanwhile we have not heard about OTi infrastructure
At the end, it does cost a lot of money to build a metro

Lagos charges some of the highest tax rates in Naija. You think that the metro was funded by oil money alone?

Most of you would cry if they charged Lagos taxes in your state.

Can any Nigeria construction company do it?

Ordinary 13 kilometers road awarded to still earth construction company own by kalu them never start the road but them don chop 50% of the money.

If china go deliver make them give them the contract.

Think, why is ITB and JB keep getting contract in Nigeria

It's because they deliver.

Do u know how many contract your governor don give indigenous company in your state and they fail to deliver, base on man no man
Those contracts are awarded without bidding and they are awarded to friends of politicians. After the padipadi contractor give out bribe there will be nothing left to execute it.Have you heard governors arresting them for failure to finish them?

Any state governor that can't promise and deliver rail line in next election should not be voted into power. It's long overdue

It's unfortunate that Tinubu decided to build a coastal road rather than the coastal railway which if far more beneficial

Nice One

Meanwhile, they're not remembering Ikorodu asix at all. Those side Imota, ijede, abule also need to connect to Lagos
Funny enough, I was going to make a post about this.

1) Why not extend the Green Line to Epe?

2) Why not extend the Blue Line to Badagry?

3) Why not extend the Brown Line to Ikorodu?

4) Why not extend the Abuja Metro to Nyanya and Mararaba?

It is very expensive to build rail systems. They have to start from somewhere and then extend it over time. All these extensions will certainly eventually be done, but it is small by small. Everything cannot be done at once.

Anyway, I wrote that those were the original plans during the Tinubu era. I also wrote that the plans have been modified.

The Sanwo-Olu Administration has modified the Brown Line into an Orange Line.

ORANGE LINE: This 48km line is designed to run through Ikeja, Alausa, Magodo, Mile 12, Irawo, Itolowo, MajidunAwori, Majidun Ogolonto, Agric Ikorodu, Alapadi, Maya, Eligana, Isiwu, Ibere, Imota and Agbowa in Ikorodu.
But it will take time and money before it is built.

Anambra should be able to do it easily, after all Peter Obi made a fortune for the mini Dubai of a state, according to Obidients, which is why he must be President.
