Putin would have taken Ukraine in one day, if 50 countries had not ganged up with Ukraine against Russia. This is a fact always ignored by those who want to limit Russian military capabilities. In addition, do u know the kind of tunnels in Ukraine? Can u try the kind of fortifications in Donbas? Keep deceiving yourself! As for peace settlement, nothing Russia didn’t do to get a peace settlement. Russia and Ukraine signed many peace treaties, which the west told Ukraine to disregard! e.g Minsk agreement 1 and 2.
Even Russia pulled out of Kiev in the early days of the war cos the west lied that some form of peace settlement was to happen after, only for U.K to move in and plant fake massacre scenes in Bucha and accuse the Russian army of slaughtering civilians in the towns. The west does not want peace. They have said so verbally several times. They want to defeat Russia militarily and break Russia into 12 different countries. So Ukraine will be completely swallowed up by Russia even if it means WW3 will result from dat. Russia is ready.

You seem so petrified about what Putin might do, but you're not bothered one bit about what NATO has already done and is doing. Not everyone wants to live at the whims of NATO and Americans. From Afghanistan, through Libya and to Iraq and Pakistan, is there any reason to trust having NATO military hardwares in your countrys backyard? Why is NATO increasingly acting like a global armed robber? Why do they want to have a military base at Russias border?

When the Soviets sent a nuclear ship to Cuba in the 60s, the Americans and their socalled allies went haywire. When Putin sent similar consignments to Venezuela few years back, America demanded an assurance that the ships visit wouldn't be permanent, and they got that from Russia. The same Americans are now sending war machines that are being used to attack Russia by Russias neighbours and you don't see anything wrong.

I beleive that every country has got the right to defend themselves the best way they like, especiallywhen they're being encircled by serious adversaries. Whether it is America oo, Russia oo or Chad, defwnd yourselves. And that's what the Russians are doing here.

They won against Napoleon Bonaparte due to severe winter that hampered the Napoleon advance, forcing a retreat. In ww1 they were sending hundreds of thousands of soldiers to the war front without any weapon, millions of them died for nothing forcing the Russian people to stage a coupe which allowed the Bolsheviks to take over power and agree a peace pact with Germany, effectively withdrawing from the war. In ww2 the severe winter once again came to their rescue when the Nazi Germany were almost within touching distance from Moscow, prompting a counter attack by the Russian army bolstered by the Slav reinforcement from the eastern frontier.

It is the nukes that makes Russia a threat to the west, they have more nukes than everyone and might be crazy enough to use it so everyone is just trying to not get to that point.
