Anambra, Globim sign MoU for monorail in Onitsha

ANAMBRA State government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with an Canada-based company, Globim Corporation, for the finance, design, construction and operation of monorail system in the commercial city of Onitsha.

Governor Peter Obi signed for the state government, while the chairman of Globim, Dr. Jude Igwemezie, signed for the company during a brief ceremony at Government House, Awka.

He can't transform Nigeria. He can do patch work like those before him have tried though. The only transformation that can take place at this point has to involve a complete overhauling of the system in such a way as to get a complete handle on the problem of corruption. Peter Obi dances around with the very corrupt elements in the system, past and present. He will likely not do what it takes to get that to happen.

Maybe after that overhauling has been successfully accomplished, then you can argue for Peter Obi. Not before or he risks flopping like the one's before him including Jonathan.
