[color=#770059] This just proves that Winners chapel is a business ground and not a church. I wonder why a pastor will be retiring.

This man (Abioye) has caused more problems in marriages through his so called counsel & preaching on marriages.
God forbid me to attend his church.
Incase you want to argue, I am a winner & a disciple of Bishop David Oyedepo.
Pls share the counsel and preachings on marriage that you have an issue with

Watch out, more Winner's Pastors will follow the footsteps of Dayo Olutayo, George Adjeman, David Ibiyomie etc to start their own ministries because they have been shown the reward of blind loyalty- used and dump

Oyedepo run this man street things.

Anywhere you are, be wise and street smart.

Those who are truly in the service of God don't retire!

The mandate approved 60 as retirement age in 2001 and was revised down to 55 this year. Why then were Bishops Abioye and Aremu allowed to still continue when they passed the age of 60 and suddenly told to resign now, according to same "mandate". They are not telling the whole truth.

I don't want to talk about this their 'mandate:, but something is fishy about the whole stuff. Why the review and it was not communicated to the whole congregation before now? Well, all the best to Bishop Abioye.

With this a precedence will be set in Winners, many pastors in winners will build themselves and leave early to form their own ministry or church. It is better to have a little congregation of 100 member as a head pastor than to be an assistant pastor with a congregation of a million. Last last na pikin de inherit papa hustle/properties
the things he has access to , several G.Os in Nigeria dont have it

imagine working in chevron to owning your business

Something is not right. The Bishop and others were not smiling.

Something tells me it's the man's decision to retire for reasons best known to him.

cool

Yes his tenure has expired!

Holy spirit and Cherubim will have to elect another person to fill the vacuum!

This is according to Living faith book 21:4!
Your prophet had no succession plan
That led to wars among his followers after his death
This fighting led to the deaths of his daughter and two grandchildren
Don't you think Muhammad will regret nor having a succession plan that cost him his family?
After all, Islam was his own hustle too

So at the end of the day, everyone owns a ministry to be eventually inherited by children?
Where is the ultimate glory and salvation in all of that?

After many years of service, better to be running your business by the side as a full time Pastor

This will become a bad precedent and a terrible thing for the church at large.

Churches will be seen as startup ventures and business centres.

You use a big church to gather leverage, then go ahead and form your own church.

I hope the leadership of the church in Nigeria is asking themselves questions in what the actual purpose of the church is because it seems we Christians have lost that purpose

Abioye don chop too let him retire, Oyedepo na the most greedy Pastor in Nigeria let him too retire but because na business thing he can't. I keep saying this a Church shouldn't be owned by anyone but can be founded by anyone.
