Evaldas Rimasauskas, a man from Lithuania, scammed Facebook and Google out of $122 million between 2013 and 2015 by sending them fake invoices.

Posing as a legitimate Taiwanese company, Quanta Computer, with which both tech giants had previously done business, Rimasauskas sent fraudulent invoice requests.

Believing the invoices were legitimate, Facebook paid $99 million and Google $23 million, transferring the funds to bank accounts controlled by Rimasauskas in Latvia and Cyprus.

The scheme was eventually uncovered, leading to his capture.

It's crazy that no one bothered to check and that nothing was in place to catch onto it sooner!

Nigerian police are one of the reasons the fraudulent tag on Nigeria and Nigerians are so loud, Dem catch small Yahoo boys redeeming iTunes cards of $100 they run post am online, thinking they are working, without charging them to court.

Later they collect bribery from these guys and release them.

There are countries and people doing way bigger frauds than Nigeria that the world don't know about because they are not being broadcasted the way the Nigerian police do
