If you go to some Christian weddings, you may hear worldly songs during the reception. Some churches too may sing or change some worldly songs into Christian songs.. If someone corrects them, they may say "Christianity is in the heart, and on that day we go see who enter heaven" ..

The truth is that a Christian loving worldly songs is fake. You may speak in tongues, cry during worship etc. But if you love worldly music, you are fake or weak Christian..

I John 2:15 says "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him"
There is nothing like worldly song. We only have good and bad songs based on the lyrics.
We have terrible so called "Christians" songs too

MY OPINION
It depends on the context you are categorising what a worldly song is. It is the lyrics that defines if a good music is not the artist.

I suggest if the lyrics is meaningful and not corruptible,go ahead but I'd otherwise do away. However, if your spiritual level is so high and you are led not listen to "Worldly music" then Selah.

Christians, I urge you to consider the undeniable reality of logic and physics. There exists a phenomenon known as sound waves and frequencies, tangible forces that shape the world around us. Sound, in fact, has visible patterns—symbols that emerge when its waves interact with matter.

Imagine placing water on a flat surface, like a tray, and running speakers through it. The vibrations from the sound would create distinct, repeated patterns in the water. Each specific sound produces a consistent pattern every time it is played. Now, reflect on the fact that over 60% of the human body is composed of water. What this tells us is that the music and sounds passing through us affect not only our physical form but also the patterns of our behavior, whether we are conscious of it or not.

This is why we must be mindful of what we listen to. Whether you are a Christian or not, the sounds we expose ourselves to have a direct impact on our mind, body, and spirit. Be intentional about what you allow into your being.

You are wrong!

Have you read the song of songs?

Boobs was mentioned several times in it! See below!

1. The Prayer
Proverbs 5:18-19
The songs of Solomon is talking about Christ not the worldly sensual between men and women.Worldly songs are completely contrary to gospel music. How do you feel when you sing gospel music? Did you feel like seeing heavens? Does worldly music hold any attraction to Christ? Judge ye brother!
18 May your fountain be blessed,
and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth.
19 A loving doe, a graceful deer—
may her boobs satisfy you always,
may you ever be intoxicated with her love.

(Say Amen)

2. My Beloved
Song of Songs 1:13-14
13 My beloved is to me a sachet of myrrh
resting between my b*.
14 My beloved is to me a cluster of henna blossoms
from the vineyards of En Gedi.

3. Your Boobs
Song of Songs 4:5-6
5 Your boobs are like two fawns,
like twin fawns of a gazelle
that browse among the lilies.
6 Until the day breaks
and the shadows flee,
I will go to the mountain of myrrh
and to the hill of incense.

4. More description
Song of Songs 7:7-8
7 Your stature is like that of the palm,
and your boobs like clusters of fruit.
8 I said, “I will climb the palm tree;
I will take hold of its fruit.”
May your boobs be like clusters of grapes on the vine,
the fragrance of your breath like apples,

5. Kiss of life
Song of Songs 8:1
8 If only you were to me like a brother,
who was nursed at my mother’s boobs!
Then, if I found you outside,
I would kiss you,
and no one would despise me.

6. Little sister with no B*
Song of Songs 8:8-10
8 We have a little sister,
and her boobs are not yet grown.
What shall we do for our sister
on the day she is spoken for?
9 If she is a wall,
we will build towers of silver on her.
If she is a door,
we will enclose her with panels of cedar.

7. Boobs like towers
Song of Songs 8:10
10 I am a wall,
and my boobs are like towers.
Thus I have become in his eyes
like one bringing contentment.

Assistant Jesus don drop update!

So the National Anthem, as it is a 'Worldly song' should not be sung?

Or Nursery Rhymes?

Is Songs of Solomon not in your Bible?
Are they not a collation of songs to lovers?

So any Christian that sings those songs is fake?
Who are you to determine another man's salvation?

Are you God?!

You are just a modern day Pharisee and if Jesus came down today, you will criticise him.

Thank U. People should understand that knowledge is now abundant and people are now asking questions that shake the traditional foundations of religious beliefs. The test if true religion is it's ability to give satisfactory answers to honest questions.

I do t think so...
I am someone who loves rock so much and one day,I was going back to ship and needed to buy a memory card. Couldn't get one to buy cos it was a Sunday but one of the very few hustlers on Sunday at the Ikeja offered me a used one and I didn't mind.
Paid for it and left after testing it. When I got onboard I discovered it contained a lot of nice rock songs but this time, they were very nice gospel rock, the type you only hear on Sundays on radio and wonder how you can get them but here they were, right in my phone. I know I love God and it was like He wanted me to switch to gospel rock since He knew I fancy rock music a lot....

Some cool gospel artist whose songs are soul uplifting: Hilsong. (High and lifted up etc.)

Digital Age (Break Every Chains)

Michael W smith (Healing Rain etc)

Sonic Flood: (Here I Am To Worship)
Mercy Me (Crazy,One True God etc)

Kari Jobes (Steady My Heart)

Casting Crown (Voice Of Truth)

Many many more.

But besides rock and music, there are lots of ways you and me can worship and praise God ...ohk,make I nor come start preaching 😁

Don't you have sense of discerning and judgement as an enlightened adult?!

What about worldly movies that we watch. Action film, horror film, sci-fi, romantic, movies, thriller, comedy John wick, kiss of the dragon, avatar, titanic, Jurassic world, avengers, justice league e.t.c. If we watch them does that make us worldly

Be selective and careful with the songs you sing and listen to.
For if sounds from David strings remove or pursue a demon from Saul, it can also attract and bring them to you..
Not everything that is trendy that is gainfull...

Music is entertainment that's why singers are making money out of it there is no Christian music as long as the artist is making money out of it because his target is fans not Christ.

Your favorite Tope Alabi is a Marlian meaning all of them are into money making venture not evangelism as most of you people think! smiley

It is not a sin to listen to songs as a Christian because as humans your definition of worldly will differ from someone else's

No. But we grow in grace. And our growth rate is different. A babe may still find themselves falling. A mature believer however who is a Christian (Christ-like) would be able to deny/resist such worldliness.
Unfortunately so many believers choose to remain as babes. But the times we are in is no longer for babes.

Music is music. There is no such thing as worldly song. Many so called Christian songs were not inspired by the Holy Spirit and many gospel singers are doing sinful things in secret.

Then again if you term certain songs as worldly it means you must only watch christian TV channels and watch only christian movies but how many people do this?
I bet the op is high on religion and it's practices. There are outrightly no such things as Christian songs; all songs are worldly songs. They are sung in different contexts. Burial, birthdays, holiday outings, casual outing, institutional songs like poems and anthems, club and fans of sports, folktales for moral stories. These are human categorization and must not influence or make us myopic.

You guys make serious mistakes about Christianity. It is not a religion, so it's not about do's and don'ts. It's about the revelation of God's love through Christ.
Focus on Him and your desires will tend towards good things - and music that his helpful to your mind.
