Hello Guys, I'm setting up a challenge for myself which would be documented here extensively for accountability.I decided to come up with this idea to help me get a better objective view of my trading style and regime.
So, it's about taking my $25k and $15k fundednext account out of 7.4% and 8.5% drawdown respectively back to break even,passing the evaluation phase 1 and 2,making to funded stage and making to payout.
My current edge have a well developed statistical evidence of it's profitability as I have over 3 years of backtested data with more than 300 trades recorded as wins,BE or losses.The system have an overall winrate of 66% with an average 4RR,which I believe is highly profitable if executed well.
I made a thorough assessment this weekend and found out I have a major flaw when it's comes to execution that hindered my progress so far.I do miss out on trades most especially winners and I also sabotage my winners through exit errors and the likes.So far this month, technically,I was supposed to be up by 18-23RR but I ended with something more lesser than that,I got fed up and I think the best solution is to make my trading activities public.

So here are my 2 fundednext account,My goal is to take them out of their massive drawdown back to BE,pass my evaluation and get funded by executing my edge FLAWLESSLY.
I wish to add a deadline,but I can I get them back to BE before mid November?We shall see

All trades taken will be posted here with entry and exit level explained so as to be more objective.My trades are mostly of limit orders
I'm not really sure if posting analysis would be necessary but trades will be posted before entry,after entry and after exit.
So here is my risk management plan to get me out of the drawdown safely;
The current risk per trade remain 0.2% which would be maintained until profit made can cover 4 back to back losses of 0.3% risk and so on.This is because according to my data of over a series of more than 300 trades,my longest losing streak was 4 trades in a roll which occured only once.I lost 3 trades in roll six times according to the 3 years of backtested data.So,the worst case scenario is for me to lose 4 trades in a roll.

I noticed a CON.POI setup(weird name though ) which entry is validated if price takes the most recent low after 7 am this morning.
It's have a potential RR of 3.5.

If as a Nigerian you have $20,000 or $50,000 raw cash in your trading account, how on earth will you not be comfortable making $100 approx N160,000 weekly to cover for feeding, fuel and others. (I'm even being modest)

When you see a Nigerian here bashing the idea of living off trading in Nigeria, he's thinking ur account is $200 and you will only survive 1 month if you are good

just understand that poverty is talking...

Before attempting to live off trading, your issue Is no longer being profitable but being able to fund your lifestyle, 2 different things

Listen, a lot of people who have put in the work in FX are only held back because of lack of capital.. forget prop firms,


If you underestimate the importance of capital, forex go use overtrading, overleveraging and indiscipline wound you, eventually making you lack confidence in self and strategy that is albeit perfect,

your profits would never be enough to even put a good meal on your table. Especially when you get into a losing streak

I will be taking trades with $1 or $0.69 SL on Deriv, any small move like this and I'm out of the positions.

A guy that's outside the country will take similar abi same trade self, load it and give it enough breathing space and he's taking in Maaaaaaaaaadddddd Profits.

Just targeting 3% on a $100k account is $3,000 oooo

Good one.. Don't add any deadline, you ll put yourself under pressure and you know what happens when trading under pressure.

Additionally during these recovering stage... Take only Trend following trades and ignore the CT trades.. It ll help alot..

The EU setup was a brilliant one, and losses are normal but if you stick to trading trend following trade you would have ignored that setup.. EU has switched to an intraday downtrend. See the chart very sloppy downward movement.. Only swing traders should buy here or you have good profit to risk from...
