At inception of production, Dangote Petrol was touted as colorless and the purest of Petrol there is..

But curiously in Abuja here, all the Petrol I have been seeing in the Nigerian market are still the usual 'colored' or yellowish type we are used to. (The easiest way to see the color of the Petrol in circulation is via the Black Marketers' kegs)..

So, has anyone seen the Colorless Petrol anywhere.. maybe only those in Lagos are getting the colorless Petrol. Pls post a picture if you have seen🤔

This same thought crossed my mind last week and I didn't know what to make of it.

I was wondering whether Dangote has successfully run a badass PR stunt on the common Nigerians (talking about how his PMS is colorless and the best for engines) or maybe the Dangote PMS has not yet circulated as claimed by NNPC.

Yesterday I bought fuel at NNPC for my generator . When I got home, I poured the petrol inside the generator, and it was still same color of petrol we've always had.

I have seen the Dangote petrol in the black market keg and it was colorless.

I just never got around to buying it.

The color of petrol is determined by the crude oil it is refined from, not the company producing it.

Just be patient with NNPC, they are remixing it with impurities. Be patient. The Colorful ones are on their way.
