I used to travel to any part of the country at any time during PDP era. The satanic APC is the biggest calamity to have ever befallen Nigeria.

Not in this lifetime again. Even if we break up today, each region will start battling its own demons. Kidnappers in the South and terrorists aka bandits in the North.

Politics deliberately blinds Nigerians. Truth is, you're liable to find more serene places in Nigeria than Uganda and you're likelier to be left alone in Nigeria than anywhere save Nort Pole or Sahara Desert. Actually, scratch North Pole. That place is very monitored by the super powers.

Nigeria is a country where entire tribes of people from the Sahel can can enter, find a place and settle down without fear of government or people. No one would know or care. I've seen videos of places in Nigeria effectively under occupation by people from Ivory Coast and Ghana. One island near Lagos has people flying Ghana Flag . Another trade in Ivory Coast currency. Can any of this happen in Uganda?


Places to settle for picnic in Nigeria is everywhere in Nigeria. And, actually, you're not as safe as you might think, picnicing in Uganda. Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania team with wildlife. You have to know what you're doing or you may be eaten by lions, trampled by elephants, gored by Buffalo, hunted down by Hunting Dogs, dragged off by Hyaenas and still face dangers by terrorists.

A family friend was shot dead while travelling along a major highway by armed robbers....in 2008.

I can even tell you tales of insecurity from the 1980's self. Infact from 1980-90, we had one religious crisis or the other in the north and people died well well. In the south, it was the era of violent armed robbery.

I know you are still aggrieved over some useless election.....but we have never enjoyed total security in NIgeria at any time. Even back in the late 1970's someone my parents knew refused to give lift to a woman with baby because....suspicion.

Even as far back as the 1990's, travelling in the night o......Armed robbers would swarm the bus, kill the police escort, and rob passengers.

As for GEJ, was it not GEJ government where there was constant bombing everywhere? When boko startedspreading its tentacles. And the usual armed robbery, kidnapping, and even one chance?


Even this kidnapping....it was popular in the South south. IN 2007, a woman was kidnapped by armed kidnappers, and her child was shot dead before her eyes, in Port Harcourt. Kidnappers disguised as NNPC workers self.


I no dey defend tinubu government, and I can say that security has gotten worse since 2019, but at the end of the day, Nigeria has never been safe.

We don't spend enough on our police. That is why the police cannot take on bandits, and also take on boko...and even kidnappers...because there isn't enough cash for a lot of things they need....and that is even before looting commences. That is why for decades we have been using the army for internal security....



Make we get government wey go make more money for Nigeria...but no, na tinubu, atiku and obi, wey go share money, you dey see.

NIGERIA used to be like this in the 80s and late 90s. The whole breakdown of law and order started with the civilian regime, thereafter overwhelming lawlessness crept in starting with militant to Boko Haram, to Fulani herdsmen. I still remember when Nigerians chose to travel in the Night over the day.

Now you can only en5joy such ABROAD.
So pathetic we can no longer enjoy simple things like this. Most of us JaPa just because of simple things like this. The Fun of Life is meant to be maximized in full else you are not gonna have it again.

The sooner everyone realises that Nigeria has lost it's sovereignty the better.
