There are so many countries America have sanctioned, they can barely use the SWIFT system, there are countries where making international payments is so difficult,e.g u can’t link Nigeria banks to PayPal, we have been banned and all forms of nonsense like that. So, because Apple built one of their factories in China means the factory belongs to China, most of the time their laboratories are not even in China but the building, production and assembly section are what they located there.

As for those cheap goods the Chinese themselves produce, they don't pass quality test and most times sent to Africa and other parts of Asia.
