I think amongst the conditions for borrowing from World Bank / IMF, etc is to weaken or devalue the Naira. . Which Tinubu did not have to a choice than to comply with, since he did not have funds to run d govt.

I think FG is trying to escape from the era of over dependency of dollar, and gain a breather for the Naira and the economy at large.

Nigeria under T-pain has seen where to borrow more money let him not tell us one brics is equal to #1000 ooo!
