kingkelvin2033:how will the education make the "future leaders" solve the problem? are you one of the future leaders? what are the problems facing nigeria? what is the "very long term outlook" and how will that solve the problems facing Nigeria? who and who are responsible for the problems facing nigeria? who and who are those that carry out the "Belle face culture and hustle mentality will only keep destroying this nation"? my solution for what exactly? which problem am I solving? |

olyrayy:how does this show that power has improved? olyrayy:he said that as at 2012, Nigeria generated more than 5000mw. but in 2024, you still saying 5000mw is an achievement. how is that possible? |

Why should they sack him. I now enjoy 20 hours electricity. My generator has been on sabbatical leave since January. I spend less money on diesel. Even at Band A N209/kwh, I am far better off. Carry on jor, omo ibadan mesi ogor..... |

lexy2014:He shifted the goal post. This is what he said: Before Adelabu came on board what was the generated megawatt, as it gone up or surpassedAnd I showed that Adelabu has actually increased it more than what he met on ground. Then he started talking about 2012, which is even before Buhari came on board. |

TheTundeMuniru:You don't need magic to solve Nigeria power sector, just imagination and innovation based on data and analysis. Most power generation is in the South and transmitted by the exchange to the North. Why not break the TCN into the 6 regional zones and invest in power plants in the North to reduce long-distance transmission? |

LOL... You think Tinubu will be foolish enough to sack one of his best ministers the way GEJ was not courageous enough to protect Barth Nnaji who was his best minister at that time, you wish? |

lexy2014:I think it's best you relate your solution directly with the Minister of Power, he's on Twitter. Your advice might be what he's missing. |

Is that too much to ask? Nigerians should understand that wastage is costly, manage whatever you have wisely. Some people's freezer doesn't go off at all, even if the content will not defrost in 4 days, different kind of unnecessary appliances. We should learn to be prudent with our resources. Sensitivity: |

lexy2014:Mr or Mrs, I am not under any obligation whatsoever to answer your question. Relate directly with the Minister of Power via Twitter, from there your suggestion can be put to play. Shalom. |

lexy2014:The guy asked if power generation has gone up compared to what Adelabu met on ground. And I mentioned that power generation rose to 5300 MW, which broke a three year record. So, it's definitely more than what Adelabu met on ground. |

The Power supply systems situations in the country has been in existence before the existence of private properties. A country in need of over 200000Mw supply in the country today but with just about 5000Mw. From inception which of the Power supply systems projects being started from the word go has ever been completed, Non. Kainji Hydro Dam which was started by the BRITISH Colonial Administration in 1955 for end of completion to be 1200Mw at country's political and military administration era the total capacity done was 320Mw instead of 1200Mw by Yakubu Gowon military administration, and by 1975 one of the power unit of 80Mw has collapsed. From the word go how many other Hydro and gas supplies power projects have been started and completed from the word go _ non; even several newly awarded projects that were not started are many. What about High voltage power Transmission lines __330kv and 132kv lines are produced as expected not to talk of Power supply Distribution distributions operations. All Electricity Power Supply systems operations in the country has been dead and buried from the word go. Recalled During the Babangida military era who say No to government monetary supply to NEPA systems operations again in the country in 1993 that led to NEPA Strike which led to him Babangida sending 11 NEPA Union members to Kano for Treason trials but the Kano high court gave each of them 10year jail terms. [ 11 JAILED NEPA UNION MEMBERS] Nigeria News Papers report. Also the over 16 billion dollars gas Electricity Power Stations projects awards by the then OBASANJO regime ,how many of them are in operations today. So to now say Tinubu should remove the present Minister of Power supply Adelabu they say when the head is off it will be too late to cry. Nigeria 🇳🇬 the 6th largest populated country in the world with over 200million people in need of over 200000Mw but just a bit over 5000Mw. See Brazil the 7th in world population wih over 180 million people have power supply systems of over 185000 Mw. Mexico the 10th largest with over 150 million people has over 150000Mw. But in Nigeria 🇳🇬 we need additional 195000 Mw for the country, but they say to every problem there is always a solution. Recently all the Southern States Region Governorship administration at their meetings say they are ready to build 90000Mw, if they can go about it, the Northern States Region too should look into major building supply systems operations while the Federal government should also go ahead to power supply systems productions operations . So what is worth doing at all is worth doing well. But most of the proposed power supply systems projects should be through major foreing Private power supply buildings and maintenance services operations. So what is worth doing at all is worth doing well. |
