All mention are still some facts, but major, they are not in good terms with the person that brought him single handedly to the position (Nuhu Ribodu)

All the reasons are valid.
Only the 18- year age limit is valid. I actually commend him for fishing out all those Togo and Benin fake certificates after the expose by the Journalist.

His discharge will not change anything in that area. FG must sustain his zero tolerance to fake certificates from those who try to cheat the system here and outside Nigeria.

Yeah those are major issues and shows lack of strong leadership quality.

One would have thought he being a professor and an academician he would know how to handle the ministry well enough.

False Promise of Stipend for Unemployed Graduates: He falsely claimed that the federal government would pay stipends to all unemployed graduates in Nigeria, a promise that was not part of the government’s agenda and created false expectations.
Is this not one of the promises made by the All Promises Cancelled, APC party in 2015 when Tinubu packaged Buhari as messiah four years after calling him expired huh

I only have problem with d 18 yrs admission policy.... D Benin and Togo University ban is very much justified.... If you want to argue go and watch d premium times investigation of how someone got a 4 yrs certificate within 6 months and he even served.... D funniest thing was that, he served twice, and even collected alawee, that means u can serve multiple times without getting caught, d guy killed two birds with one stone.... He exposed nysc and Benin republic Universities at the same time

You are right.
He should have directed JAMB to offer Mmesoma immediate admission .

Mmesoma has covered her head in shame and you are still crying on her behalf in Nairaland.

Re: 10 Reasons Tinubu May Have Decided To Sack Tahir, Former Minister Of Education by Kris907(m): 7:30pm On Oct 24, 2024
All these are speculation. The government gave reason why some of the ministers were discharged and it is only the government that knows the in and out of what transpired. Out of the 10 reason you outlined here, 4 of it has to do with degree obtain from Togo & Benin. I know of a colleague who obtain a Bsc degree within 8 months in Benin while others are burning it out here in Nigeria, yet they'll be mobilize for NYSC. The 18 years things is also good and his discharge won't change anything because is a policy of 6334 system of education.

He may be brilliant but lack leadership skills. Prior for him to be education minister, he was the VC of Baze University Abuja, which is own by Datti Ahmed, the vice presidential candidate of labour party in 2023 election.

Which professionalism do you want him to adopt against an aided candidate. Some of you just like to talk nonsense. Mmesoma was exposed and the bigots who were at her defense were later shamed.
