There are many traders in all those Lagos and Onitsha markets with reasonable stakes in small manufacturing outfits in places like China. Goods can easily be gotten by them and payments made later. And you will pay for those goods. Don't take my words for it, run your checks. And even if you close the borders, grand smuggling will ensue!

A president that spent tens of millions of forex on a private jet just few weeks ago for his own comfort and frivolities, lacks the morale authority to pontificate to me on the need to avoid foreign goods, especially when there are no local substitutes. Where was your man coming back from few days ago? Foreign land. Je went on "holidays". What was he spending there? Odua currency? How many presidents have visited Nigeria to enjoy their holidays? Funny chap like you.

No one is telling you not to buy anything foreign you want or go anywhere foreign you like but not with subsidised dollars from heavy lending by govt to sustain your frivolous lifestyle.....pay the right value for it.

Countries poorer than Nigeria run presidential fleets and their govts equally travel all over the world for one reason or the other,why cast aspersions on your president's intentions.... buying jets or travelling abroad isn't the reason why food is expensive or fuel is expensive.

Watch as apc criminals and wicked individuals come into this thread to discredit the good works of the abia government. Pdp ruled this state for more than 20 years with only wickedness and oppression on the people. Now Alex otti is doing a good work and bringing relief to abia people from the evil pdp inflicted since 1999 and some people are bringing in propaganda and apc elements are behind the scenes trying to paint a government bad like the states where apc and their stooges rigged and manipulated inec into Power.

32 months is almost 3 years. How old is the administration of otti?

Its debt owed by ikpeazu and TA Orji now its up to the current governor to draw out plan how to pay them.

He might chose to pay them some percentage yearly. Or chose to pay them some percentage in his government and allow the next administration to take over from where he stopped.. If am the government this is the route I will take because they never complained to ikpeazu government all those 8 years

Oga i am not disputing any of your long epistle on Otti and his doings. Just help yourself and apply same to all other politicians including the ones you love to hate. Last time i checked there is not one politician occupying a leadership position that is not doing at least one thing. Not that you make excuses for Otti citing only his achievements while you downplay his struggles. But for other politicians you magnify the problems and downplay the achievements.

That my friend is hypocrisy.
