I went through the post and the picture below caps it for me.
On my post the other day, I said the distraction from Uber will not allow you concentrate on anything study, this is what I mean.

If you're driving and you want to pursue a career/business, you need to know when to stop driving. You can combine whatever job/business with driving later.
It's easier to combine 9-5 with Uber than to migrate to something else from Uber.
Bros, how will you concentrate when you have bills to pay, you can only stop driving totally when you have saved enough to sustain you through the period you want to learn other things, if not, you can't focus at all.

It's not that easy bro...

Why are you calling me an ancient man? How did you find out I am ancient? 🤔 after if I call you a certain troll now the other troll will immediately jump out to defend 'yourselves' grin

Anyway, depending on your tenacity . . . You might still be complaining like you are currently doing till circa July 2027. Nothing will change for you except for the worse and ehailing will still be a business by then.

So why not give up now and save yourself the headaches down the road? Why do you want us here to give up along with you? Was anyone here connected to your placenta at birth? Why must you choose to drown with a crowd instead of all alone?

Mschew, and you say I'm the selfish one here right? undecided
From your write up now people like you dey always say person need to work hard every day before e fit make am for life..

And you forgot that you only need to work smart to make it in life .

If you think my life depend on only driving for Uber/bolt unlike you.. then you must be foolish.. .. That's why I called you an Ancient man. change your circle it will do you good

Well, as I've opined before. It is high time we all start looking towards the CNG project. It is the ONLY VIABLE SOLUTION to the issues being experienced on the job today.

Do you have any savings? Why not borrow the balance and go to get your vehicle professionally converted to use both petrol and CNG? You can work this December and clear off most if not all of the loan by working hard and saving every kobo possible even while being a bit flexible to accommodate the family on Xmas eve/day. After which you pay off the rest of the loan and keep making your profits no matter what come from early next year.

So in essence all im saying is CNG conversion for ehailing workers is a Win - Win 🏆 🙌

Transportation is a necessity and VIP Transportation is a niche market that is not gonna dissappear anytime soon. Better evolve with it or get left behind. Since the app coys aren't ready to increase the rider fees then it's imperative that you as a driver reduce your fueling fees to compensate. Whenever the app coys get their senses back and do the needful you'd be making a double killing on your profits 📈

Win - Win 🏆 🙌

Of course those afraid of CNG can go get a smaller displacement engine vehicle 🙄. . . But for me, using over 5 million naira to buy a tuke-tuke starlet type of car is a huge NO-NO, I dunno about you though wink

Have a wonderful weekend ahead guys
Price of CNG is even going up.

Exactly my message.
Know when to stop before you get trapped.

That's why my message is for young graduates that have minimal bill to care for.

Not those that are lost in Uber driving already.

Okay you say one shouldn't work hard abi? grin that they should work SMART cheesy oya, can you give us an example of how you want ehailing drivers to work 'smart' ? Just one good example would do wink

And you say you have other things you do that give you cash flow, i'm sure it's not a 9-5 job because here you are, early on a workday searching for trips to wherever instead of heading to an 'office' smiley so pray tell, what is this other cash flow you maintain that gives you the freedom to drive on very early workday mornings and also have spare time to come here convulsing on our mentions? 🤔

I'm really curious . . .

No matter how UP the price of CNG goes it can never get to HALF the price of petrol 'pound for pound' so it's still a win - win 🏆 🙌

Hmm, the way you talk at times always amaze me, I guess you're holding one political or government seat to be sure of this, price just went from 200 to 450, you should be asking what made the price shoot that high in space of 1 year when the percentage of people using CNG is like 5% compared to gasoline users, what will happen to the price if users increase to like 30%.

I remember when they were converting CNG kits for just 200k, now it's around 1m, ask yourself why that much increase, demands is shooting up the price and you think demand won't shoot up the price by the time alot of people switches, I still ask one question, what's the effect of CNG to the resale value of the car.

Look, let me state it here plainly for everyone to read and understand . . .

The price of petrol ⛽️ WILL STILL GO UP

The price of CNG too WILL STILL GO UP

The price of the conversion from petrol to dual petrol & CNG WILL STILL GO UP

The only things that would COME DOWN is the expertise in the conversion process and THE AMOUNT OF EHAILING DRIVERS STILL IN THE BUSINESS

The above points are a given 💯 and it will happen exactly as I've stated. So do you want to be the one always waiting for the price of something to COME DOWN and therefore DROWN or will you take the surfboard by its rudder and glide high above the tide till you get to whatever shoreline the waves carry you? 🏄‍♂️

I implore on you to use your head bro . . . And use it ON TIME wink

Exactly and the only part you can decide to replace to make the revert a clean job would be your engine's valve cover alone wink

How much is the empty naked valve cover of a typical corolla again? 🤔

Abeg if una see wacko jacko again please helep me tell am I'm still here waiting for his opinion on how ehailing drivers can work smart as he says he does this season cool

Let him know that giving up is not an option for us here on this thread as the purpose of this thread is to profer ways to help each other stay afloat on the business and learn new skills to help increase profit and reduce drive time on the job

He can help us according to the theme of the thread and not start yapping on how drivers should give up and remain idle at home or beg for food undecided

Come to think of it, he's telling you all to give up while he himself has a business already booming lol 😆 he doesn't care if you have something else to fall back on as he does wink

He wants you to go and die just as his former governor osho told that market woman on the roadside that year lol

How much more wicked and selfish can one get? undecided

Finally a new rideshare app that prioritize drivers earning admits rising fuel cost, this is what rideshare drivers need. Not rideshare app that compete for lower fares to favour riders. Taxi is a luxury if you can't afford it use Danfo.

If you believe those deceivers and the figures they are posting here are real. Then I don't know what to tell you..

I also did a research today... Normal 1hr trip on e-hailling app in Benin with bolt is almost 6500 naira.. but I went to a cab stand and ask for the same destination they told me to pay 14,000 Naira. Can you see the difference.huh It's even better to have few ride than stressing your car for peanuts and in the end of the day , you will not be able to make anything reasonable to take home... All I am soliciting for is an adjustment in price on bolt, Uber and indrive... So that majority of drivers we benefits a lot from partnership with them

You nor really get sense. And you don't have the ability to become a good successful business man in future. From the way you always think

So you think CNG is free to install. And the gas price will remain constant?

erm, hello ooo 🙄

My options for them have already been stated above, let me mention it again

2RightHands1Cock and Sirchiboy (though both being newbies, and IN LAGOS ) should choose out of the 2 options below:

Find an avenue to borrow or repurpose funds towards converting their vehicle to run with CNG plus petrol

OR

They sell off their vehicles and repurpose the cash towards something else (i.e. that awesome thing that you've already got going on for you on 'your side' wink )

I believe there might be a 3rd option, but it totally depends on YOU angry i hate to sound like a broken record but YOU HAVE NOT STILL TOLD ME HERE HOW PEOPLE LIKE THESE TWO WE ARE TALKING OF CAN WORK SMART TO GET AHEAD ON THE JOB.

remember the keywords . . .

This part is damn funny. grin
Btw, by the time you master indrive, you go find the peace that's hidden on it. Though, it might not come easy because fuel price of today is times 6 of when I started learning about indrive.
But from what you said here, the mistake was from you (not indrive).
Keep using indrive once in a while, by the time you get the grip, it would be like eating pap and milk with warmed moinmoin.
God no go shame us.

Be like say drivers from ibadan no too plenty for here.
I did in ibadan like 6mnths ago when I was instruc3d by my company to go oversee some offloadings around Ring road.

I seize the weekends to run on bolt, ibadans are not so familiar with indrive yet. I did lots of trips, From New Garage to Akobo, akobo to Iwo Road, i went as far as Moniya. I did at akala express and elebu too. I made lots of profit then as there was no traffic, fuel then was 568 I think. No police stopped me, no VIO, no single law agencies. Rides comes in before I finish the current. Ibadan was sweet then, don't know about now. I used AC, most riders knew I wasn't from Ibadan stating ibadan drivers will never use AC. There's this baba I picked from Top one garden bar new garage to ire akari estate, he requested that I wait and take him back to top one. I did and he said I should come in to take 1bottle grin. It was fun then sha.

I took some ladies from lead city, they asked if I can come pick then anytime they need my services, I told them I came in for a purpose. My riding experience there was worthwhile. I entered one estate for akobo, the guy just rear me money as per say I waited outside foodco akobo for almost 20mins before he cones out to meet me.

How is bolt seevices and its profit making at ibadan now?
