Took my first trip on indrive today, didn't pay attention to the Map instructions when going to pick up the rider and while dropping off ... burnt fuel like kilode.... The rider was nice but my fuel just dey burn, price on indrive can be ridiculous. Still a novice bit I don't know if I have the willpower to continue yet.... Fuel of 20k no reach anywhere for Meter and it's burning fast. The money I got used it for fuel back ....no gain yet o , trial and error moment ,moment of Truth

1. You should sell the car and venture into another business you think will boom in your axis

2. Change your car to a smaller engine (Kia picanto, Yaris, honda city or Suzuki type)

3. Relocate to a state thats more profitable

Options 2 and 3 is if you still really want continue in ehailing

Besides a lot of folks just ventured into ehailing based on "I hear say" or they heard it was a soft money making investment and didn't conduct prior research.

Especially when some folks here only drop the good sides of the business and leave out the not so Rosey part of the business

The truth is, the only time you'd enjoy this work is when there's surge and on weekends

It's just a pity that folks with nice rides have been relegated to bench warmers and tuke tuke motors with 2 strokes engine are now big boys
A country where someone with a 2008 Camry will sell it and buy Kia picanto so he can see change after hustling

The work can be tiring especially when there's no surge or some exceptional some days

I drove today I set out around some mins to 8 and I made about 60k net with 23k fuel note this was because I took advantage of the surge and by 5:30pm I'm home
