⚡The US will deploy a satellite-jamming weapon in 2025, Bloomberg reports, citing the US Space Force. "A weapon designed to suppress Chinese and Russian satellites in the early stages of a conflict has overcome technical problems and is expected by next year, two years later than planned," the report said. The system, known as Meadowlands, was supposed to be operational in 2020, but the new model has modern software and enhanced capabilities and should be operational in October 2022, the report said. The VP, like you posited, said nonsense in South Africa where the president did not shoe up. Yet today, Nigeria has been accorded a partner status in BRICS . That says a lot. By the way, how many teams have Nigeria destroyed internationally? International politics goes way beyond reflective emotions. What do we mean by being influential? Yes, one of African largest economy in terms of GDP, among the 30 best economies in PPP terms out of 195 nations of the world; the world most populous black nation, we are talking about approximately 230 million inhabitants, and projected to be half a billion in the next three decades. It is only an idiot wanna be intercontinental business man that would overlook the huge economic and cultural influence this country wields. Yes, there are so many things wrong with Nigeria, but the reality is that it has and will always be difficult to deal with Africa without taking Nigeria into account. China knows this. The US knows this. The EU knows this. And the BRICS geoeconomic planners knows this too. Hence, the decision to put up Nigeria there as a partner nation. Believe me, if Nigeria joins BRICS as full permanent member tomorrow, the whole west African subregion will board the ship the next day. If the UN makes good it's intent to restructure the UNSC that will allocate two seats to Africa as being suggested, Nigeria is tipped to be one of the two permanent representatives.
