What are u talking about? In a federal republic you look up to the center or federal govt..if it was regional government, then no need...pls what's ur level of education? Primary secondary or University?
Bros, it should be a collective responsibility of every arms of government to make things work. A tree can never make a forest.

What's the essence of allocating and sharing resources with the state government and local on a monthly basis with out us feeling the impacts on the economy.

Where I blamed the federal government is that the government does not have good welfare packages for the citizens, this government is running a capitalist economy system where rich becoming more richer while poor people are push to their early graves.

Government should indeed be sensitive. Reforms that harm and cause the death of citizens are bad policies.

This is absolutely correct.

If you doubt it, take a walk along a busy environment/road/Street, top it up by carrying a 'nylon bag' with something inside it, you'll see someone walk up to you for assistance.

One week or 1 day?
Hahaha.. 1 week oo.. that's how I'm surviving as a student here... when u are getting less than 20k in a month as feeding money, u have to calculate well... the main problem now is cooking gas, I tried using charcoal, but I discovered it's even more expensive than gas.

It shall never be well with those who worked, supported and encouraged this wicked and draconian Tinubu regime

Thunder 🔥 Tinubu
blame not the people who voted and supported him
Blame Tinubu himself.

Each passing day, I keep asking myself, what exactly is the president trying to achieve with his policies? When the price of fuel was 600, people took to the streets to cry and protest.

I expected a good leader to reflect on this and make amends. Unfortunately, the worst happened, the price rose to 1100, this is almost an additional 50% increase.

This is not leadership.

My Governor is trying . But Governors can never influence the prices of things. If dollar and fuel price reduces today, prices will reduce. It's simple logic

Well said sir, the economic policies of Tinubu government are the major issues , and he does not want changed it.
The taxes on consumable goods have been increased recently by the federal government without letting us know that's why the prices of goods keep on skyrocketing these days.

If they are really hungry they should go to their politicians houses to demand for food, they were the fools who voted in corrupt and thieving politicians, they were the onese who were praising corrupt politicians.

They are not hungry yet. When they are really hungry we will know. If you still has the voice and mouth to say you are hungry then you are not really hungry.

Una still dey play cheesy

In a week about 4 to 6 different youth do come and knock on my gate to beg me for any job or food.. They don't beg for money because they know the Naira is dead. They all asked for food. No matter how people defend the FG here, The FG has totally lost it. Even during Buhari era nobody come to knock on my gate and beg for food. People were just packaging and managing their poverty but today, you can't even manage the poverty again. It is finished until after this government

it's actually a long story.. but I don't buy things on credit. And my feeding allowance in a month is not up to 20k... .. so if I cook soup stew using like 2k, I'll use it for like 4 days, I'll also turn garri and use the stew to eat it... and I only eat twice a day, sometimes once... grin so u have to think outside the box... sometimes during harvest time, we have what we called sweet melon here, u can get 5 pieces for 500 naira.. u can eat 1 in the morning and one in the afternoon.. so the 5 pieces will serve u for 2 days... that's 250 per day...

.... but how is this epistle by punch help the hungry beggars?

God gave us large expanse of land and favourable weather but what do we do with it?

Why do we need food import from Niger, Cameroon, Benin Republic to feed? Laziness

Reading everything here show that Punch editor is economical with the truth. Expanding problem hiding solution

The root cause of our problem is laziness, prodigy and indiscriminate procreation depleting our $ and doubling our population every 20years.

People are spending 30-40m to japa, where do they get the money from the same Nigeria with the so call dead economy.

More than 20% of our dollar now go to paying of school fees abroad and other frivolities like birthday wedding and senseless vacation in Dubai etc. So government should continue subsidizing $ for them.

Everyone is criticizing, nobody offer solution. Very amusing when Obi the all round failure said he will borrow to sustain subsidy, in a country already using more than 70% of income to service debt
continue to justify the failure of a party and government who never had you in mind. Go and find out about the current wastefulness of this government.

As public analysts, have reiterated this wastefulness of our resources, they now embark on face saving measure of 3 vehicles for a ministerial convoy and limited number of entourage for foreign trips after a year in office. Not ready to take those hard decisions that will affect them more.

Now the IMF are distancing themselves from the floating of naira and subsidy removal decisions of this government after seeing the catastrophic effect of such policy in light of the Dangote refinery commencing fuel refining in the country

Yorubas have destroyed this country.

Never again should they be allowed to ever rule this nation .
Power should only be allowed between hausa, ibo and us.
Never again will Yoruba be given power
We Yorubas don't care about who is ruling Nigeria as a country , once the person can rule us with transparency and accountability with good policies of social welfare for the benefits of all Nigerians irrespective of your tribe and religion. We are ok with it.

If you are wise enough, ask yourself why people suddenly becomes lazy now.
The food in circulation before was largely from the North, how many northerners can now freely go to farm?

Oga just keep quiet if you no know what to say, stop writing nonsense.....

We use to farm and get bags of maize so plenty. Now, government banditry business have stopped us from farming. You go to farm, you get kidnap, or terrorist will harrass you by asking to pay levy for your own farm.
The Levy will be far twice than the profit you'll make from the farm?

Next time don't write any nonsense of this shit if you have nothing to say.
May anyone supporting and defending this government die a miserable and painful death.
