It's for a Conference.
-Invitation letter from Org. (SA)
-Yellow Card (all pages)
-letter of introduction from my employer
-3 months statement (Stamped)
-Letter of Confirmation of balance by the financial institution
-Personal letter of introduction (written myself)
-Dummy return ticket (Directly booked from Airline)
-Dummy hotel reservation (Directly booked from an Hotel 100m away from the venue of the conference)
-Nigeria Passport (Coloured 2copies)
-Passport photograph (2 copies It's better to take the photograph at vfs office or environs as they are aware of the proper specification. An applicant was delayed and asked to retake his photograph due to wrong specification)


PS: If all your documents are intact, you should not spend up to 1hr there. I hope this helps

Please assist me with info, I applied for my child's visa this month (October) at VFS Lagos and the reference/tracking number given to me started with ZAF/LOS/..... instead of SALA/.....
Now, I can not track the application using ZAF/LOS/..... because the digits are too long, also when I changed it to SALA/.... it says NO RECORD FOUND. I have contacted VFS but to no avail.
Has anybody experienced something similar? Please assist on what to do? Is there another VFS tracking platform or an update in reference number.

I had similar issue. It's seems there is something wrong with the tracking system. However, if you paid for Courier services during your application. The tracking number given to you by the courier service provider (in my own case GIG Logistics) will be of great help. It'll only tell you where your application is at a given time and not the outcome/result of the application.

Also, if you subscribed for mail and/or SMS service, you will also be updated on the application status (whether it is at VFS office or at the Consulate's Office and vice versa)

Lagos VFS uses ZAF/LOS now , not SALA.
As per the tracking it’s their website not the number given to you.
If you didn’t subscribe for SMS call the VFS on +234 815 018 8800 and they will tell you the current status of your application.
For the number to be trackable remove the slashes in between, but then people haven’t been able to track recently.

Sticker, Multiple entry, 3 months validity.

Applied on 3rd October at VFS Lagos.

While there might be other alternatives, one method I always use when making payments of or for something in SA while in Nigeria is through proxy. It is always best to get someone who has a registered bank account in SA to help pay for any online service (as in this case now, SAQA) then you pay such a person the equivalent amount in Naira.

Please my South Africa e-visa was just rejected on the account of submitting an invalid bank statement but I submitted the required 3 months recent bank statement (all pages stamped and signed statement gotten a day before visa application submission) and a reference letter from my bank. Account balance is more than 30m. My bank is First Bank. Please what would you advice me to do/change as I am about to make a new application? Thank you very much for your assistance.

Unfortunately, several people have had this same issue with DHA recently.
It’s either they are trying to disuade people from using online DHA or they have another motive.
Yours is one the many I have seen recently.
I advise people do physical application for now instead.
E DHA has become a cash cow.
