Many travellers have been injured in an accident that occurred along Otamakun road in Ogbnomso, DAILY POST Reports.

It was gathered that the travellers were injured when thei bus coming from Lagos ran into the collapsed bridge at Osuru, along Otamokun road.

The incident according to sources occurred Friday night.

DAILY POST learnt that bus fell into the bridge during a downpour.

Our correspondent gathered that the Onisapa of Isapa, Oba Ezekiel Abolarinwa Olajide, had called on the Oyo State government to repair the bridge without further delay.

Rather than first fixing the very horrible existing roads and making them very decent to use, they are busy awarding contracts for new roads worth trillions of Naira and would eventually be tagged “abandoned projects”.

They purchase very beautiful and costly SUVs, yet the apply them on very poor roads. Truly our some of leaders lack common sense.

Thankfully no one lost his/her life.

Shame on our poor leaders.

This happened in Osun so it's not important. Let's focus on labour party in Abia instead. By the way, is that not a fast growing gully erosion site right there? I thought things like this happen in only Anambra.

That is why it's good to slow down when plying a road u are not familiar with because u don't know the state of the road u are driving on, u may meet potholes and won't be able to avoid it

When life of citizens is meaningless to government.

Long distance travelling in small vehicles is just suicide. Any man travelling interstate that can't fly is broke and I don't date broke men.
