FUBARA PERFECTS PLANS TO BLACKMAIL JUDICIARY, BILLIONS EARMARKED.

There is a growing concern within the camp of Governor Siminalayi Fubara that the series of losses recorded in the ongoing litigation are clear signs that the government is gradually coming to an end.

Rivers Watch reliably gathered that the governor's camp are preparing to stage multiple protests to cry wolf. They have been warned by their lawyers that they have bad cases at different levels of the court, and they cannot win the final battle.

We have it on good authority that the first thing they plan to do to water the ground for the protest is to launch a massive campaign of calumny against the judiciary. This we learned is aimed at justifying the planned protest.

Governor Fubara and some key members of his kitchen cabinet allegedly met with some media executives and publishers at the government house, Port Harcourt recently to perfect the plan to paint it like the judiciary is against the governor and his administration.

Over $500,000 has been earmarked for that purpose. Some selected media houses and public affairs analysts have been commissioned to carry out the attack on the judiciary.

We were also informed that there will be a lot of newspaper publications from pseudo groups condemning the judiciary as part of the multidimensional campaign.

Every judge handling any case involving the political crisis in Rivers State has been penciled down as a target. Even the Chief Justice of Nigeria and justices of the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal will not be spared in the smear campaign.

In the coming weeks, all these will unfold to herald their protest all in a bid to whip up sentiments to gain public sympathy, we gathered.

Recall that on October 30, 2023, Rivers State House of Assembly led by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Martin Amaewhule removed Edison Ehie as Leader of the House, suspended him and three others following the burning of the hallowed chamber of the assembly.

Moments later, Edison Ehie declared himself the Speaker. Governor Fubara went on to present the 2024 appropriation bill to him and three other suspended lawmakers.

An action that Justice Omotoso of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja nullified in its entirety, and declared that Mr. Ehie was never elected speaker of the house, in his ruling in January 2024.

Instead of obeying the ruling, Governor Fubara chose to appoint Oko Jumbo as speaker with two others as members of the assembly.

On two separate occasions, the Court of Appeal has ruled that Rt. Hon. Martin Amaewhule is the authentic Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly. One was the squashing of the ex parte order granted by Justice Wali of the Rivers State High Court that Oko Jumbo relied on, for lacking jurisdiction, the other was the affirming of the judgment of Justice Omotoso of the Federal High Court.
Meanwhile your family are leaving in abject poverty while you are depending bullshit.

As much as I know this is Sim's handwriting, I cannot also deny the uselessness, bias and highest bidder arena that our Judiciary has become. I know Wike will not back down because Rivers is his only chance to relevance in 2027 and beyond, Tinubu too will not interfere because he's ready to work with whoever will be truly in charge leading to 2027. Let both sides do their worst!

I'm not so happy with the way things be in Rivers, I just pity FUBARA. I don't know why it's so difficult for him to win these 27 house members to his side at the beginning of all these fiasco. He should have used political intelligence and even financial resources at his disposal in diving these people to his side. His battle is now enormous. I don't think he can win in the court.

Well I look forward to how the PBAT will act to this threat from a faceless group.
Gov. Fubara has not learnt from history that even former POBJ would laugh at this threat and issue strict warnings to the State Governor.
The law through the court will take it's course and all those who are seeking sentiments should do away with it.
If Gov. Fubara is trying to paint the Federal Judiciary black and trying to blackmail them the he should also know that that same finger he is using for such is tainted with oil and also pointing to the Rivers State judiciary and they are all same people and there is no way Gov. Fubara will say he is a saint.
Wike has said if you get a good lawyer then it's as good as a checkmate.
Let Gov. Fubara adhere to the rule of law otherwsie the Niger Delta waters will be filled with military invasion.
Also let the know that those given pipeline surveillance contract who are from the Niger Delta would be told to ensure proper security on the pipelines and ensure anyone found to destroy our natural resources should face the whole weight of the law.

The correct headline should be "Fubara commissions criminals to blackmail the Judiciary with threats of pipeline destruction". Fubara should know that he's not above the law. If he likes, let him start something he can't finish.
Not Fubara, this boys have bombed pipelines in the past, they said Wike should leave River State alone, it is not his property.
Wike should focus on Abuja, he think people don't know how his bribing the whole judiciary in Nigeria, building houses for them, offering gifts every time, subtly removing there minds from the truth and buying them off.
All these has to stop.
President Tinubu should not allow these boys bomb pipelines again, Nigeria can't afford more economic issues because of Wike.
