Nigerians are fearful entity, living a miserable life in fear.

When you are living a life that you are deprived of basic Amenities that makes life beautiful you are not living a life. So why all the fear? Living in penury and you don't want to die?

No hope of life becoming better tomorrow and you are all scared to to do the needful.

Point finger to the politicians that you can't take it anymore.

In sane countries outside Nigeria, her citizens can not take this shit from its politician but here we are taking the shit hoping that God will do miracle, miracle can never happen if you don't do the right thing.

If we sit like this and hope change will come without action, change can never come. The politicians are comfortable with what comes into their pockets so they don't care if the president's policy is choking their citizens.

At this point, it's not a time to be divided along tribe and religion, we are all in this shit together. The earlier the better. Lets shake the government. Lets shut Nigeria with massive protest. I am not scared, I cant be living like I am comfortable while I am not. The Youth of this country can shut this country down with protest.

Don't be scared the security formation of the country is even overwhelmed with the current hardship in the country, so, they want the youth to shake up this country. We can't be living like this.

I am ready if you are ready. Put date make Everywhere scatter. All die na die.

Did Tinubu announced the increase specially to you, coz the rest of us did not hear any broadcast....

Incase you are just coming from Afganistan, I am happy to announce to you that the price of PMS is now deregulated, marketers now fix their prices the same way other sellers of other products are able to fix the prices of their products without the president having to help them fix their prices.
Who did this to u? Is this the Nigeria you desire for your children? Oge de ba n je e lon pon.

Thank you for explaining it in the simplest form to those dull headed ones. Subsidy is gone! Price goes up or come down, that's nothing from government. Fuel is now fully deregulated!

The governments should get the price up to at least 1,400. This would help reduce the size of the budget hole until it finally achieves a liberalised price.
What if the naira devalues to ₦3000 to $1? Will you still talk about this your ₦1400 helping to reduce the size of govt budget hole? 🤣 grin

Even a foolish man knows deregulation of the price for PMS is a stupid idea. Look where it has brought us. These poor policies have crippled our businesses and value of our currency

Oga you don't get it. Make the price 2k today and in few months they will increase it to 3000 claiming they are paying subsidy and that it is cheaper than neighbouring countries. Reason been that once you increase fuel price, inflation sets in, ie value of naira+ fuel price are 5&6. Are these gov officials so daft they do not get it?
Infact today make fuel 10k per liter, in 1 month they will say it has to be 12k because naira would have further lost value!

I thought it was the private that is best in managing infrastructure and not government?
Akujuriobi:
I bought at #1,150 at ojo area of Lagos State today. Nigeria is not fully ripe for deregulated economy, removing subsidy and floating naira at the same time are big blunders by the government, you don't hand over the life of the peoples to private sector that operate on profit oriented economy and majority of the Citizens are corrupt and takes every opportunity to inflate pain on their fellow citizens. The government may struggle for the remaining time of the administration.
Independent marketers fix their prices themselves in Oyo State. We urge to desist from selling PMS above official pump price[/quote]
Bro, there is nothing like official pump price of fuel anymore. That was during the subsidy era. Now the market is deregulated.

I expect fuel price to ease to about 2k just like our neighbours in this West Africa if not, we would be wasting our time.

You mean the dollar+naira rate also affect the petrol price?
Originalsly:
Face it .... petrol price is pretty much tied to the Naira. It will move up as the exchange rate moves up.

There is no deregulation anywhere. If there was,the price would hit 1,600/litre. You don't fix prices when there's deregulation.
see what I mean, again?

When I school you again now, you will say that term is arrogant.

Once again with the shoddy grasp, and finicky memory.

Why are you still hellbent on 1600? Why are most Nigerians like this ffs? The naira for crude policy has supposedly kicked off since early October, so why are you still using the 1 dollar benchmark? The more things change, the more they remain the same🤦‍♂️

Dem use suffer swear for una for dis country ni. Abi iru awon eyan wo ni mo'n ba gbe ilu bayi. You sef go become leader one day and will continue the destruction of this country. Wait are you in the generation of the ruling class that has sunk the country so far, cos I'm guessing now you likely can't be part of my generation, we largely don't think THIS WAY like the older generation that does, and has failed woefully so far. What was the whole point of naira for crude, if your mentality about benchmarking it to 1 dollar like we still import for the most part was never going to change??. Same you support the battering of the naira. What sort of self immolation is this?

Una qo queue buy that fuel for 2k till 2027 and beyond and I will be here to remind you every step of the way.

Is it not the same government that said once the system deregulated fuel pump ⛽ price will drop because of the competition but reverse is the case as all marketers are computing to increase the price, the surprise part no body is complaining

To BAT supporters what really changed

Was this decision taken behind his back?

Let's be frank. NNPLC belong to government, for a commodity that is as important as fuel, nobody would dare to take decision single handedly.

Don't mind those locked headed zombie. NNPLc fixed the price I thought NNPlc said he has no business fixing prices any more. I am shocked that they fixed it 1050naira. Those people supporting evil knows the truth but because he's their brother as if he will kill them if they speak the truth, they won't admit.
