It holds no ground in River's state. All this wike moves were predicted to happen and their are counter moves to dislodge this. |

I know that my people are sensitized against the judiciary so it will be very easy to crucify them no matter how logical the judgment is. In Nigeria sentiments over run reason even amongst lawyers. The judgement is based on good legal reasoning and sound logic, "that the presentation of the 2024 budget by Fubara before a 4-member Rivers House of Assembly was an affront to the Constitutional provision" In this case, Fubara must not be allowed to continue to receive allocation based on illegal appropriation. This should be the case whether or not Wike is involved. |

Reptyle:Fubara cannot ignore Wike, to work with Amaewuleh's camp because Wike controls them. Wike is overbearing, so it's either you play by his rules or you lock horns with him. He should allow Fubara to concentrate on governance, because he has nothing to lose. Maybe another government will be loyal to him. Anyways, that's the kind of politics that we play in Nigeria. |

Henix:Why should Fubara deny the 27 duly elected members of Rivers Assembly their right to represent their people and make laws for the state as required by the constitution? They were elected the way he was elected. Why they lose their offices because he want to protect his own office? He has two heads or what? |

cr7lomo:He is in Abuja go and arrest him there. Is it constitutionally right for Fubara to present the budget to only 4 members of the house? I thought you guys were saying Fubara is winning ..... Inasmuch , I don't support some of Wike's actions and utterances...... But Fubara has forgotten that there are rules of agreement, you shouldn't break. Except you are ready to face the consequences either good or bad .... |

This is not a judgement, besides, Rivers State Government has the right to appeal even upto supreme Court so the fight continues. During Tinubu as Lagos State Governor and Obj as President, Lagos did well and sustained itself with her IGR, without FG allocation. Meanwhile i am against the move by anybody to stop what is due Rivers State because of political and selfish interest. These money is for the State, me and u, moving to stop it is an evil and wickedness against the entire Rivers people and must be condemned. Play your politics but it doesn't stop our right from any Angle. Rivers State Government. Will also stop her resources from getting to the Federal Government including our oil.. You can't stop giving allocations to the same source you get what you are sharing..... Rubbish |

cr7lomo:Every state in Nigeria has its dynamics. No two states are completely alike. Moreso, when you factor that Rivers has 25 distinct ethnic nationalities, you get to see things from a different dimension. |

You can not run a state with only 4 out of 27 legislators that passed the budget, he was warned to resubmit the budget by the court but he refused because he was been mislead by the likes of Edwin Clark. |

Svoboda:IGR in which account? When Zenith Bank and Access Bank are both respondents? The judgement did not illegalise spending of money from FG 'without approved budget' but entire money for the state. He needs to get an order of stay of execution and appeal though he may still lose. |
