There is no more to it. It's been like this for over 30 years. It's NPF way of generating revenue.

It's called ''Roga'' or "Raiding" in Lagos.

A police van will park and arrest people going about their normal lives and load the bus till it is full. They will drive them to the station and relatives will bail them with money.

If you are not bailed on time or have no one to bail you, you could be either executed as an armed robber or used to replace a real one who is set free.

That is why I no dey ever follow policeman argue. Try and resolve whatever it is on the spot, calmly and diplomatically.

Was he arraigned before any court? When?

What exactly was the charge?

Did he plead gulty or not guilty?
