Where Can I Invest $1,000 For Guaranteed Returns? by IncredibleWrite(op): 11:36am On Oct 31, 2024
Good day people.

This forum has been very instrumental to my growth since I first discovered it in 2013.

Quick question here:

I have $1,000 I want to invest but I don't know how best to invest this money.

I'm thinking US stocks but I don't know if it would be the right investment with guaranteed returns.

I would need your ideas and contributions as I wouldn't want to make mistakes.

PS: Please don't suggest crypto. I've thrown in over $2,000 into acclaimed potential alt coins but what's left in that portfolio isn't up $400.

I've been getting emails from people asking me to invest in their business.

Please, this isn't the purpose of this thread. I have a small physical business already and I know the impact of the devaluation of the naira.

I want to invest this money in $$.

Plus how can I even invest my hard earned money on random people I meet on the internet?

Nigeria don good like that? Haa.

Going through your initial request followed by your last comment ill simply tell you that the seamless way to invest and earn in USDT is to create a service or product funnel online...with your $1K capital you can earn @least $100 weekly doing franchise reseller business also known as Franchisor for online brands like ebay, sprint, mc-donalds, Airbnb or online ticketing for concerts(music and movies)....i cant delve too much into it to avoid ban on NL...you can quote me with your digit in any of your dead thread for further engagement .

Thanks for your contribution. But like I said, I don't want to invest in a business. I work remotely already with clients. That's how the money was made in the first place. I want an investment that doesn't require any work from me but just returns.

And for all the scammers sending me emails to invest in one thing or the other, or even those asking me to chat them up, una don meet another maga for una mind Abi? Fvck! Nairaland is a lost course.

Drop your advice here or don't bother. Thanks
This your response showed that you didnt comprehend my submissions on franchisor nor did you DYOR on it as suggested .

Thanks for the heads-up. Even though I'm not a newbie online. I've been into online marketing for 5 years now and no human born of a woman can scam me. Them never born that person.

Be wary of that poster, wittywriter in collaboration with his wife is a known scammer. A simple search of his moniker here in nairaland will tell you more. Otherwise na premium tears.

Don't send money to anyone or invest in anybody's business. There's a high chance they are all trying to scam you.

If you want guaranteed returns and safety of capital, invest in FGN Dollar Bonds. The yield is 9.75%, with a minimum investment amount of $10,000. You should be able to invest with a minimum of $100 in the secondary market but the yield might not be as high, maybe 8-9%. You can also research FGN Eurobonds.

Another option is to invest in dollar mutual funds offered by some banks and brokerage houses. GTB has a dollar fund, United Capital has one and a couple of others (Try Cowrywise and assetbase.capital). These are more aggressive and you're capital is not guaranteed but I think they only invest a small part of their funds in money market instruments.

The last and DIY option is to invest in the US Stock Market. Register with a broker, and buy shares in companies yourself. You can do your due diligence or get stock tips from the US Stock Market tips thread here on NL. I can't remember the name of the thread but you can google it.
