Hello Pilots…

Well done guys,

Please I need some advice,

I’m into online business and the thing has been very slow lately, thing is I’m seriously considering e-haul… Right now, I have like “No-Money”, presently staying in IB, and I have my “2009 toyota camry xle”… It’s a V-6 and I’m considering selling and going for a low consumption car and also moving to Lagos so I can truly earn…

Advice I need is;
What car should be on my top list for e-haul.?

Second advice is, I’m considering working from the lekki axis and staying on the Island side, “Is it a good place to start, I’m totally new to eHAULING”.

I’m asking because this has to be sustainable for me, I’m practically looking at the rent from Excess of my XLE sales…

Please I need a Big Bro advice from an experienced point of view…

It’s a big decision that must work for me… I’m single too
If you don't mind the dated and petit look, 03-05 Honda Civic. The earnings from the sale of your car should get you a tokunbo one or a grade A Naija used with lots of change left for you to draw from while things regulate.
Parts are relatively cheap and it's relatively simple for mechanics to work on.
Fuel efficiency is great.
In a nutshell, low buy price with low operating costs.

You or him ain’t on my level… ain’t boosting. I place your sh*t on your level and since then you’ve been jumping around like an headless chicken looking for me. Toor! I’m invisible and a lot is buried in time. Tell him or you to show workers. I don’t have time for needless cruise or wait for laptop from Ikorodu. I told you the other time to use the nearby rope. I can also drop you on third mainland bridge. As far as I am concern, both of you will be in my rearview. Deal with that.

If you decide to venture into Ehailing, you might become completely lost in it.

...before you enter, please have an EXIT plan....and be sure to stick to it.

Can the sales of your Camry fetch you 5-6m?.. you can get a toks standard Honda Civic 07-09 between 3-4m.
As for staying on the Island, you will have to go further down Sangotedo to get something affordable in rent. A mini flat will do, 600-700k rent with total package of 1m,.so rent renewal won't be hard on you..

This peak period is the best time to start, so you can maximize your earnings.

Meanwhile Lagos is not your regular city, everyone is out to "Chop" you. You have to be ready and street smart.
Make friends active drivers here so they can put you through.

Whatever you decide on....Have an EXIT plan. Ire o
Wait ooo, 07 to 09 civic 3 to 4 million?

Please don't sell your car to start Uber. It's dicey at the moment. Have you tried blogging? If you're truly earning online, you will understand what arbitrage bloggers are pulling as figures

Good day legends, please I need help starting this business. I have a Camry 2005 ready for this hustle. I have few questions to ask and I hope to get answers to them here.
First, how do I position myself for rides that will help me make profit at the end of the day.( I reside at Ikorodu)
Secondly, I have been reading here about why short trips are better than long ones, for a newbie like me, should I stick to short trips only?
Thirdly, I will be grateful if there is anyone here willing to mentor me on this hustle.

Thanks and God bless you all as you help a brother

Thanks for the response sir,

I actually have an exit plan, which is to venture into Tech, build something from the little earnings that I can put up.
And yes, my car would comfortably get me #5-6million naira.

Also, I’ve lived about a year in Sangotedo area before. I hope considering that area isn’t bad for a start.

What cars would you recommend in a maximum of #3m budget with good fuel mileage.. ??

And also, is there a WhatsApp group that I can join for a start to begin my journey with connecting… I just need to make consistent earnings and I think Ehailing could be some sort of Calvary… I would do better in my side hustles with that extra income and I’m not scared to sell my car as someone suggested…

Thanks for the time

Please shed more light on the dicey aspects.

Are the concerns relating to earnings or security risks?

And also, I really am not scared to sell my car, I’m on 27 and it isn’t a big deal…. The car is a v6 anyways and already cost me too much to fuel considering the pricing of fuel…

The dicey part though, appreciate a little more words in that regards

Sell off your car. Buy something else with not more than a 1.6L engine and you'd be fine hustling in lagos with it wink

Advice I need is;
What car should be on my top list for e-haul.?

1.3 to 1.6 Liter engine should be your target, if you can get tkb that would make sense. Anything bigger than that na fuel go dey take your earnings.

Coming from that your luxurious xle, e go first b lyke say na korope you buy. The goal to na maximize your profit

Some car lots don dey bring those cars in. A friend got honda jazzz 04 few months ago (manual trans). The fuel consumption just dey burst my brain

Second advice is, I’m considering working from the lekki axis and staying on the Island side, “Is it a good place to start, I’m totally new to eHAULING”.

Staying on the island no cheap, except if you look towards sangotedo and co. Some drivers only work on the island, while some do only mainland. Since you would be living on the island na to focus on working there because na we giran full mainland

It’s a big decision that must work for me… I’m single too

By God’s grace it will work out positively. as a single guy you need to hustle and focus sha. cos oven yapa for lekki

You are off to a great start...

Yes, 3 million will get you something reasonable, keep money aside to bring it up to taste.

Since you are familiar with Sangotedo, you are a step ahead. I'm sure if you look carefully, you will get something affordable around Sangotedo/Ogombo/Scheme II or further down to Awoyaya. Early morning trip to Main Lekki, VI is certain.

Act fast, so you can enjoy Ember month surge. Make this thread your goto place for advice and tips.

...P.S if you need help selling your car, reach me on the no on my signature or contact @Tojahh

Bro I for suggest make u find someone sqaut with since you are a bit familiar with Lagos already, use the car (since it's yours) to learn the ropes or taste the waters then from there you'll know if it's worth selling the car and by then you would have been sure it's something you can do.
I know why I am saying this, not everybody have that zeal and energy to be running up and down Lagos like headless chicken.
Don't go and sell your car for a business you are not sure of, unless you are good in taking risk and very sure you won't regret if e cast.
