Something happened this morning that made me to convene this meeting for us to discuss how Nairaland is governed. There's no other way I can air this grievance except by bringing it here. So, Oga Seun, kindly listen and respond to this.

This morning, I read a piece of news saying a Federal Government minister said 25 million Nigerians have been paid ₦25,000 each in the conditional cash transfer exercise.

Naturally, I wanted to conduct a kind of open poll on it to know how true or false it is. So, I created this Nairaland thread to ask Nigerians...

I made the post around 5:30am and called Nlfpmod to it. But, the mod ignored the post. Then, around 8am, Rufai Oseni asked the exact same question on Twitter before it began to trend.

It makes me wonder:
✅Why is it that Nairaland doesn't like to originate a trend?
✅Is it right for Nairaland to mainly be a place where people link to secondary sources?

Please, kindly keep to the topic.

This place has been a copy-pasta shithole with hardly any OC.

The daft mods will even delete any thread and ban you if it isn't sourced and label it "fake news". By far the worse is how the same mods and equally daft posters here can not distinguish opinionated articles from news.

It's a reactionary shithole devoid of original content with majority of posters only able to use the copy + paste button.

The annoying thing is some knuckle draggers have now discovered Chatgpt and are using it to create senseless threads as if Chatgpt is some omnipotent know it all.

IQ here is within room temperature range tho. I am only here because Nigerian news articles stolen from other sites all end up here and also to cause as much pain and frustration on the latest zombot Obidient crew.
