Low life calling those wiser than your father mumu. From the details from SA authority you are yet to learn that the father n mother were not South African ? Your pathetic soul do not know or understand SA does not offer nationalisation by birth except either of your parent is South African. If none of her parents is South African every paper acquired by her n her parent claiming any of either of them is South African is automatically fraud n illegal. I do not even need to run any investigation, I have been to SA over 4 times n I know what goes on there unlike a foolish tribalistic nonentity like you who see truth but out of tribalism make senseless comment against the truth. This is how you go about exhibiting foolishness all over social media. How many white South African have you seen fight for SA citizenship ? Did you even know South African actually granted citizenship to all none citizen after a certain period before introducing those laws stating only child born of either South African parent can be a citizen. With this many from neighbouring countries became South Africans but you lack of knowledge of it won't let you make rational comment. paxonel: |

ObiPandora:So if both of them were not South African citizens and the mother obtained SA papers on a fraudulent basis how then does Chidinma qualify as the perpetrator of the crime. Olodo. I can tell you did not finish University level if your reasoning capacity is this low. ObiPandora:Again how does the fraud committed by her parents translate to Chidinma committing a willful crime. Olodo again. ObiPandora:Me I have lived there, advocated for refugees, worked a volunteer for many years and been employed in the service of many NGO's and you are comparing your knowledge to mine. Olodo for the third time. |

ObiPandora:Many of them from Europe are doing that. You no sharp I swear. ObiPandora:SA nationality and immigration laws has always stipulated that children become citizens by birth or descent only if one parent is a South African. citizenship was granted to children of Legal permanent resident children prior to 2015 or so I believe but the then minister of home affairs found a way to revoke that because he wanted to get tough on migrants that became legal residents and had children in the country. Olodo! |

ObiPandora:which of them? Post your evidence here and stop saying what you don't know about people How many white South African have you seen fight for SA citizenship ?According to your statement I quote : once any of your parent is not a citizen you are not a citizen wether born in the country or not Was many of these white folks born in South Africa? The answer is yes! Were their ancestors born in south Africa ? The answer is no. Therefore, they should fight for it because non of their ancestors were born in south Africa going by your foolish statement Did you even know South African actually granted citizenship to all none citizen after a certain period before introducing those laws stating only child born of either South African parent can be a citizen. With this many from neighbouring countries became South Africans but you lack of knowledge of it won't let you make rational comment.Do you know you are very stupid? Is this how foolish you south Africans are? Read the information below. I don't need to go to south Africa to know their immigration laws. You think you can just come online with falsehood and you will not be exposed?

When I stated earlier that you will die of foolishness I was not mistaken. Now that that you have confirmed you need about 9 years to become a South Africa if you reside in the country let your AI give you the number of Nigerians with their application pending over 2 decades to become citizen. You foolishly believe in your delusion n that of AI that staying those year automatically grant you citizenship. Your mumu must be generational. Note - 2 decades mean 20 years n not just 9 years living in SA without becoming a citizen even when all regulations / requirements are fulfilled. paxonel: |
| Re: South Africans React To Chidimma Adetshina's Citizenship Revocation by ObiPandora: 8:37pm On Nov 01, 2024 |
Nowhere in history of SA as any of their laws granted citizen by birth to children of none citizen making such a claim show how foolish your claim is. If citizen was granted to children of permanent residence I have no idea about it n will not argue about that but I strongly believe that is false as South African have always insisted only children born to both or either os SA parent. ObiPandora:I said children of Legal permanent residents Olodo! "You automatically qualify for South African citizenship if: you are born in South Africa and at least one of your parents is a South African citizen or a SA permanent residency permit holder or if you are adopted by a South African citizen. "Previously children who were born to permanent residency holders were granted citizenship by virtue of the fact that their parents were South African. This was reflected in their birth certificates where they were given an ID number. As from October last year this is no longer the case. The law now states: “Any person born in the Republic of parents who have been admitted into the Republic for permanent residence and who is not a South African citizen, qualifies to be a South African citizen by birth, if: (a) he or she has lived in the Republic from the date of his or her birth to the date of becoming a major; and (b) his or her birth is registered in the Republic in accordance with the Births and Deaths Registration Act, 1992 (Act No. 51 of 1992)." https://www.gov.za/services/services-residents/citizenship/personal-identification/apply-for-sa-citizenship https://www.intergate-immigration.com/blog/new-permanent-residency-rules-for-foreign-children/ |

Book wise is different from street wise. All this you state how many of those due legitimately are granted ? The fact you qualified does not translate to being citizen learn the difference. This is exactly the problem with the lady in question plus SA as official policies of off record of deliberately not granting all this application be it citizen, permanent residence etc. I have over 10 Nigerians trying to renew their residence permit over 10 / ten years o only to give up after several unyielding tips. | Re: South Africans React To Chidimma Adetshina's Citizenship Revocation by Sepukku: 3:47am On Nov 03, 2024 |
ObiPandora:You don not renew resident permit in SA. You renew your visa. Once granted permanent residence it is done. The system is however deliberately trying to frustrate people into abandoning their pursuit for such regularization because the former Home affairs minister's plan was anti immigration so I am not surprised. |

KingCold:If you really wanted to educate yourself on the history you would understand the origins of the so called manufactured hate of the igbos in Nigeria and stop asking me uneducated questions or worse, coming here on nairaland listening to St.upid tribalistic Nigerians with low IQ's who function on primordial ethnic sentiments blabbing about "igbo must go" |

| Re: South Africans React To Chidimma Adetshina's Citizenship Revocation by Sepukku: 3:01pm On Nov 03, 2024 |
KingCold:If you couldn't care less you would be on SA forums discussing your own issues and not here using Nigeria's problems as basis of your "SA versus Nigeria who is better" argument The regurgitation of arguments "we" Nigerians have amongst ourselves demonstrates the inability of your infantile mind to research or approach subject matters critically and alas you are only here to protect your bruised South African ego and hate of black foreigners. |

Sepukku:Here he goes again with the tired. " they hate black foreigners" narrative, I've said it and I'm saying it again.. As long as you hate each other there in that zoo you have no business pointing out what South Africans do in their own country.. learn to love each other first over first then comment on South African issues hypocrite. Stop over-complicating the simple to appear "smart". You're in no position to grandstand here. You can't even take accountability for your rampant tribalism, Shut up |

KingCold:There's no over complication my dear boy, we only need tune into propaganda news from South Africa, go on social media, spend some time in the country or catch a conversation at the local shebeens and we see how deep the hate is growing. The very subject matter of this thread points to that and cannot be dismissed pointing out Nigerians short comings will never excuse nor will it camouflage your terrible behavior. You must own it. |

KingCold:using your same logic I wonder why your government or your muslim citizens are involved in Palestinian affairs seeing that the actions of the Israeli have no direct effect to the happenings in your country, eh? Ps. I think the word you are wanting to use there is "sermon" and not "bible verse"' since I haven't quoted one but speaking about sermons I leave you with one by the famous or infamous father of your nation which might ring relevant in this instance and it does: "A Nation should not be judged by how it treats its highest citizens, but it's lowest ones".......Mandela. |
