You have a solid point in that there are established systems that tower over human excesses unlike jungle-like Nigeria. But we all know the President is just for the key matters that dominate national discussions - abortion, immigration, foreign affairs, defense, LGBT+, and international diplomacy. Surely, America is way past relying on individuals to provide basic/intermediate needs as there are always functional institutional solutions for those.
