Are they kids or adults, which do we believe despite seeing the little ones with our korokoro eyes.
This give official says they are children, the other government official ie lawyer says they are grown men, University graduates with multiple wives.

Kobojunkie:
All the more reason why this is probably nothing but clout-chasing here. If we are to use your excuse, then she ought not to even say anything until she is properly situated in office, abi? undecided
Honestly, you're a fool. What will these people do to ever satisfy you. The guy told you the Minister just resumed, still you insist it was clout-chasing. The Minister can decide not to visit them, but whether it is clout-chasing or not, she made a visit and showed concern. No be everything you go deh talk rubbish on.

You're visiting the innocent children in prison instead of insisting on their immediate release from custody undecided

Did the minister just now find out? There are so many questions to ask these people in government. The whole system failed those kids.

The Nigerian police couldn’t exercise discretion from the start and release those kids. The state attorney couldn’t even decline to pursue a case against minors; he even went so far as to call them adults with children.

And that judge—don’t get me started. He deserves to be stripped of his position. Then there’s the “babanla” of them all, the tyrannical executives who pretend they’re unaware of what’s happening, and now the Attorney General is asking for the case file.

The biggest question: where are the NBA, the human rights groups, and the prominent citizens? They’re all silent.

Rubbish! Did they not already have rights before they were arrested?
Re: Minister To Defend Rights Of Detained Children From #EndBadGovernance Protests by b5ive(m): 12:24pm On Nov 03, 2024
Suddenly all big-shots realised the rights of these children were trampled upon, why didn't they notice them for the last 2/3 months when they were detained.

VDM is suddenly doing a better job than the acclaimed " Law enforcement agencies ".

Big-shots are suddenly showing solidarity cos these children's case has been brought to the glare of the public🙄🙄🙄. #SMH🙄😎

It's only in places like Nigeria that ministers are cut slack for coming into office without being well informed on what they are expected to do and what the job entails. undecided

She came in chasing clout and you expect me to cut her slack for doing that? huh Nonsense! undecided

I am not sure where they were picked up but if they were swept up in the Kano riots or were amongst those waving Russian flags, then they are already radicalised.

■ They just appoint am last week... Na why we go dey calm with her
Those children were arrested since August 3rd; that is more than enough reason not to be calm with these statements which literally amount to nothing from an incoming minister. What we saw were kids who were starved, some to point of unconsciousness and this a trend in the detention center. What needs to happen is an immediate inquiry into what happened, why, and the suspension of those responsible. Not some slapstick statement about defending the rights of the kids after the fact... We are talking here of rights that have already been violated and trampled by those in charge...what she said and did is utter nonsense! undecided
