Uncle Tojahh. It's common sense. Every engine no matter how careful you maintain it has a lifespan. The more you drive, the faster you reach the lifespan. This is especially so for high mileage cars imported into the country.

Apart from that, vehicles used on ehailing have a tendency of being abused. That's the reason the great and late gazzuzz will not go near a vehicle that has been previously used on ehaling when sourcing for cars for his clients.
Abeg what's d life span of a 2006 Toyota Corolla engine? I am asking for a friends brother-in-laws sisters cousins father.

This is why I always say you don't need to work hard but smart to be successful in life.. mental enslavement has eaten deep into you.

You forget to tell am say, at the end of the day after extreme frequent use, the Toto go slack, wide and not enjoyable anymore.. guy go sleep you ain't impressive
Well I perceive u to be under 30yrs not to know that no matter as Toto be. If woman no knack for 6months to a year it tightens hence older women who don't knack have it. Bro I'm not here to impress u. While u r looking to work smart God has blessed a man with raw materials if he puts in 8hrs to 10hrs per day he won't beg or be a nuisance to society isn't it better than trying to work smart and less hours yet u r a burden to friends and family.

Make una no vex say I won advice oooo… good or bad, the person don make up in mind.

1. I personally feel newbies should not focus on too much profit or target. Make fun off driving. Take some time or week to know what work for him and what don’t.

2. To me it is important to understand the days that things boom. I necessarily don’t believe drivers should have specific daily targets, but weekly. Some days are superb and some can be wishful. In all, there’s always a carry over. Using Indrive as yardstick… if 250k weekly is the target? Then, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and be the peak days. Pick like 2 days in the week as make up and car maintenance.
Baba this thing wey u talk no be for only be for only new bie. Anyone who want to make something from this thing must make fun of driving. Gratefulness not being bitter with the way some complain and lament I can't even imagine sitting in the same car as a rider. Dem go use frustration wounjure rider. Bitterness negativity..etc.

Solely on d driver. My Blacky is well oiled and maintained. Always ready to travel. Abeg cars are made to be driven. Ehailing is nothing to a proper car

Pls if you are into e-hailing and you reside in ibadan, is there currently a whatsapp or telegram group that is active that one can join?
Ibadan is a dead zone for e hailing. Tin sized car called Micra has taken over every nook and cranny with bad roads .meanehile U can't even find any active group.

And we have a lot of bad roads here. Now this kind cars bolt say make who get comfort Camry 2009/2010 with standard AC dey struggle with for road every day. Omon and now aboki dey use this Yaris pass for benin to drive bolt

This is were you will be deplorably and woefully disappointed if you have that mind set of achieving such amount of money daily with 7-8 hours on the road driving ... Them say who nor go nor go know.. well now only you one go fill the agony when the actual time comes. People you are yeiding to their advise have been driving for uberbolt way back since this thread was created. You can't compare the economy of Nigeria then to 2024.. majority of them don't drive anymore and some only drive weekends on rush hours not every day..

I will be here, time will tell.. now only the sweet side dem go only let you know
at the bolded, you are correct because I myself dont drive no more, (actively).
now that is because e-hailing was a means to an end, i understand the point you have been making but you should also know that lagos and Benin are not the same thing.
instead of discouraging the newbie, u can as well advise him not to solely depend on e-hailing, because the daily money can be enticing and make him loose focus.
i was in this same shoe 2021 but today I didn't regret venturing into the hustle, it was a major player in helping me level up today.
when i was driving actively, i joined some ajo group, i was doing over140k monthly.
another truth i didn't say earlier was that e-hailing don scatter my car grin.

It's alright.. some questions for you.. how much was fuel back then in 2021

Can you compare Nigeria economy of 2021 to 2024??

What about 20km fares on bolt in 2021 compare to 2024. Was there any increasment.??

I don't think any one currently on this thread can make that amount of 140k net monthly in Benin even in Lagos I still doubt .

Someone here argued with me this afternoon that frequent driving of bolt can't deteriorate your car.

dont get me wrong when i say "e-hailing don scatter my car" i was referring to the physical condition of my car. no regrets at all, because the car has worked, 3 years of e-hailing i never did anybody work, changed engine once and not because of e-hailing. it was a necessity because the engine block was made of aluminum and it chopped, so no way to fix than to change engine.

So you later got a skoda? But if I remember correctly these incidents didn't happen up to a year ago right? Abi has it reached a year already?

Coward!!! I know it's difficult for you to comprehend quickly, BECUs your brain has already been tempered with during child birth. Your grand mum mistakenly knocked you on your head during severe argument with your mum.. the floor is Open you can answer my questions. Don't pretend you didn't spotted it. Oh my bad, I forgot you don't even own a bicycle
You must be one of all those failed benin yahoo boys who is left with only a camry as his proceeds from the hk after all his maga have run away grin

You better sell it and buy the yaris, paste bolt sticker on it and join those aboki to be hustling right there in benin. Yes it's like a downgrade and your friends may mock you but at least you wouldn't be begging for food to eat or coming here to dance like a mad person. By the way you can decide relocate to lagos with your camry and squat with broda bernad (I'm sure his offer is still open) to try your luck before knowing your next move.

The babalawo is also there in benin in case you decide to 'plus+ up' and get right back into your game wink afterall hustle na hustle abi? I won't judge

Good luck 👍🏾

sincerely, I stopped driving actively this year around april, but i can tell you, from conversations with fellow drivers in lagos on the telegram group 140k net in a month is a childs play grin
someone made about 150k net in 3days and the major complain was that fueling took a huge chunk of the total gross.
also not to talk about offline trips. i have a client that pays me 100k from the mainland to lekki around spar area. last year, i had an offline client that pays me 30-45k daily depending on the time spent (apapa -tradefair) we do this 2-4 times weekly depending on her schedule.
so lagos driver's dont only make money from uber and bolt alone.
