Equatorial Guinea is currently rocked by a scandal involving Baltasar Engonga, the Director General of the National Financial Investigation Agency. The 54-year-old Economist and top official has been arrested following the discovery of over 400 adult tapes allegedly featuring intimate encounters with the wives of high-profile individuals, including relatives of top government officials. According to sources, those implicated in the tapes include Engonga’s own relatives, such as his brother's wife and his cousin, as well as the sister of the President of Equatorial Guinea. Additionally, the recordings reportedly feature the wife of the Director General of Police and around 20 wives of the country’s ministers, further intensifying the public’s reaction to the scandal. Over 400 women took advantage of an innocent man despite knowing that he was married, and no one is speaking up for his fundamental human rights.
