I refuse to believe a primary 3 student wrote this letter, the rate at which kids are exposed to adult life and contents is very disheartening. Parents are failing seriously in family and the society keeps getting worse. God help us.

Jaycing has become a very common name among kids of today and when you see the faces of a lot of these kids, them no even resemble people wey de answer the name. Even the ones wey resemble Tunubu de answer the name

There is nothing unusual or immoral about this. As a kid, I was caught with a love letter addressed to my pastor's daughter then. I was just 5 and she was probably older but I knew I liked her and had a crush on her. Instead of scolding me, my parents laughed about it, made jest of me, praised my writing skill, playfully teased that they will present the letter to her pastor dad (mind you, my dad was a muslim). However and most importantly, they admonished me not to allow myself get carried away by women, that they will come at the right time and I will make my best choice.
Children do have crush too and are attracted to the opposite sex in a non-erotic manner. Where it becomes worrisome is if there are traces of eroticism in these juvenile love letters.
It is also important to note that this kid must have read or seen a couple of romantic notes from her older siblings or relatives. In my case, it was my maternal uncle living with us at that time that I used to learn certain romantic words (like "I want you be my life partner") without him even realising he was having an indirect influence on me.

I would later graduate from the university at 18 years and I am now in my mid 30s. Some of these funny experiences played a huge role in my excellent communication skills today. Sincerely speaking, that girl will excel in life if guided with love.

My first son received a letter from a gal when they were in primary 1 with about the same content, she didn't include the "I love you" but she expressed her feelings by saying saying since their parents are close friends that's her parents and us, then he means a lot to her! She folded the letter and gave my son, he read it and maybe he didn't grasp the whole thing, but when I came to pick him up he just handed it to me and ran off to play! I read it and was initially shocked, so began to watch for a next one it didn't come, but I'll say soon we moved away, changed school now we're almost a third of the world away from them but they're still friends.... since 2006!
What I realized growing up and becoming a parent is, we tend to hide the true nature of situations and don't want to hear certain things happen to us or our siblings or our children...it has the potential to happen, but how we prep our children and ourselves for it matters.
At 17 I was already rolling in the hay, my son is 22, he cares not about that but a nerd and ICT is his passion...
Those saying world is coming to and end have yet to have any true experience about life and happenings!
