Owerri is actually underated because this city is indeed beautiful. If only the state government will cover the gutters and ensure there are sidewalks as pointed out in the video, this city would definitely attract tourists.

Owerri has always been beautiful. But Imo state has consistently lacked visionary governors.

Even that Asian city isn’t as fine as Owerri but you can see how they covered all drains & fixed sidewalks, do that for Owerri & see how it will turn out.

A visionary governor can easily make Owerri rival Abuja but they’re all concerned about looting.

Am from imo state anytime I visit owerri I look around and shake my head at the bad roads and filt littered everywhere especially at douglas road. I can't see the beautiful places people always post on social media when I drive through owerri I don't know if it's because I haven't taken enough time to explore the city.

How can you talk about a city you haven't explored

People judged ABA with Osisioma for years

Owerri is a very beautiful city but can be Nigerians best city if it has a good governor
