The first application is incorrect. It’s usually stated that all personal data provided during registration must be correct.
The second application is the correct registration and what the embassy will work with when dealing with your application.
All data are filled correctly and as well with my passport number. I've received detailed information as to the validity of the application progress till date.
Moreso I filled out all information required correctly.
Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by jaeima: 12:38pm On Nov 04, 2024
1.You said it yourself that the first application did not include your complete passport details (you wrote out only the numbers and omitted the alphabet).

2. For the second application to be successful, it also means the first wasn’t filled correctly or the details of the application was changed (the passport details).

3. Like I said before, you cannot apply twice to a category successfully! An error of the passport number not being unique will arise! If the 2nd application goes through successfully, it automatically cancels the first!

You can even get a direct master's with third class here in Germany. It depends on the school, how good your profile and motivational letter is.

Hello house, I have a simple straight question and I need an answer

With the sum of 10million naira , do I have a chance to relocate to Germany by any route?
Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by jaeima: 8:23am On Nov 05, 2024
If you have the knowledge of German of up to B1 level, you can go through the ausbildung route (vocational training course). You don’t need financial requirements for that route.
But for others, N10m is not enough to meet up the financial requirement.

Google daad and source out your schools and your preferred course.

Hi everyone,

Please I have a question. As a nurse, is the embassy going to require your B2 Goethe certificate? Like, do they ever ask for a specific Language requirement at the embassy when going under the Skilled immigration Act?

I have my B1 which I wrote between 2022 and 2023. Will this pose as a problem during the interview?
Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by jaeima: 10:00am On Nov 05, 2024
Their requirements depends on the route you’re going through. A health worker’s requirement would include the German language sufficiency.

Thanks for the reply.
I have B1.
But, is B2 a must at the embassy for nursing skilled workers? Anyone with a recent experience? Did they ask you to submit the language cert?

Thanks.

You should not even consider any route because probably you are desperate to enter Germany. Study of any sort or work is still the best. If you use 10M do tourist for a country like Germany then truth be say you go suffer... Because they don't grant asylum and they deport a lot.

An answer will be appreciated please. I am yet to get feedback fromthe Alien office regarding my sponsorship letter application filed by my uncle. Due to the high demand, I have secured early student accomodation in Stuttgart and the bills are beginning to rack up on a room I have never been to especially as I paying double rent in another european country alongside.

Even if I get the SL today (which I am not sure of), I still have like another 6 weeks before a visa approval can come. Is it advisable to terminate the contract and seek for accomodation when I get the visa and finally move? I learned seeking accomodation outside student dorms in a city like Stuttgart can be a treacherous and expensive experience.

Cancel the contract. When you get the visa, you can stay in your uncle's place until you find a house and register it. You would usually get a 3 or 6 months visa first. That affords you some time. Just be open to living in a shared apartment, if you don't find your preferred type of house within that time.

Good morning Nairalanders
I have intentions to study in Germany and I've been making researches via Daad and other sites, now I have a course that matches my BSc. Please I need information on Trier University, the documents needed for the application and also the application dates. Secondly, I saw language requirements, I hope I won't be needing any certificate since I had my entire education in English.

They stopped at 17th September 2022
Although not all who booked on that day got a date from the embassy.
So meaning tomorrow or whenever they choose to remember us they’d start from the other half of 17th.

Two appointments in the same category? Are you sure you didn’t cancel the former?
You can’t use the same passport number to apply twice in a category (it usually brings up an error of the passport number being not unique except the previous appointment is canceled)
You can only apply for a study visa and opportunity card visa together or study and visit and not study twice with the same passport (except you mean applying for category A and category B at the same time; then yes that can work)
Pls can I apply for study visa and Family reunion visa the same time

Unfortunately, you need a language test like IELTS and TOEFL. You can send email to school for second opinion.

Trier requests for an evaluation fee of 70euros for international students if I’m not mistaken (Are you aware of this ?)
Also it’s advisable to apply to lots of schools not just one.

I'm aware. I've been searching, do you know any school that accepts second class lower and funded?

Please I have a question. Can this contract be from a company not the school in the case of joint PhD
Hannania:
Every single applicant must meet the €11k yearly requirements. If you're on scholarship, it must cover that amount. If it's less, you must block the deficit. If you're a PHD candidate, your PhD contract must cover such, or you provide BA or SL.

So no matter your category, proof of that $11k must be provided by BA, SL or Scholarship
Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by jaeima: 5:41pm On Nov 07, 2024
There are lots of them that accept second class lower. Calculate your German gp grade and align your search for schools to that.
Also what do you mean by funded?

Most public schools are tuition free; you just have to pay semester contributions which ranges from 100 euros to 500 euros.

Do not cancel your contract, getting accommodation in Germany is very difficult. You can sublease it out for the period of time you are not around. Create a Profil in WG-gesucht and make an offer of the room. You will get a lot of pple willing to sublease the room. I did the same for mine

Good Morning all. Please I have a question.
Is PHD students under category A or B?
If it is in Category A, Is PHD studies that comes without funding in Category A as well?
Also, How many weeks or months or years does it take Category A Visa applicants to get appointment.
Another question is : If one have already booked for appointment under category B , can the person later change it to Category A.
Final question. Please have anyone experienced any PHD school that requires proof of funding (sponsorship Letter) before giving admission. I am confused as to how to navigate providing proof of funding(sponsorship letter) before giving admission. Is it advisable to go ahead with sourcing the sponsorship letter ? Any implication s with that. I mean getting a sponsorship letter for admission process before one can be given admission.

Please can someone help me answer this questions …please. Thank you all.

Interesting. The admin said I can't cancel the contract until March next year but they can help rent it to another person starting December. In the meantime, I would still carry the rent and avis dues, naturally. I have not visited the place but I can.

Can I sublease with the knowledge of the admin? Perhaps I shoot them a mail on that but I don't know how they would take it.

At the moment, I'm just in severe pains for paying rent and dues in a room I don't stay.

Same thing happened to me. I have paid for five months without staying until someone told me I could sublease it out. So I informed my school about the sublease and they give me their conditions about subleasing. I created a profile in WG-gesucht and made Ad on my offer. I got over 100 requests within 3days.
