She did smash a glass ceiling though.
I thought that counted for something to Liberals.

I also do not understand why you'll disparage a strategy that'll get more minority voices in conservative circles.
That is a good thing.
What's most likely happening is called a "Glass Cliff".

In any case, the Tories are a blithering basket case.
When the floor is Liz Truss, I def will not throw a hissy fit about Badenoch.
Wishing her boundless success.

More than likely her politics would be no different from any other white conservative politician, so it might as well be her.

Malaysia is phasing out cng cars ,but thifnubu fanboys want me to believe it's safe because of their useless agenda, convert your car into cng use am pack your family members and fellow party bot.
Even though there are just 4,383 CNG powered vehicle in Malaysia(which is 0.2% of the total vehicles in Malaysia, the government are phasing them out because of the danger they pose.

Nigerian government on the other hand wants Nigerians to convert their own PMS powered vehicles to CNG in mass numbers.

A lot of successful people went to kings college.

A ceo saying I went to kings college and the experiences I had there shaped me into the man I am today is not the same thing as a ceo saying I went to King's college and the place is a shithole. A horrible dirty mismanaged place with bullies and lazy teachers and crumbling infrastructure

If you Google her, her so called terrible experience in a socialist dictatorship is the political identity she has adopted for herself.

But right on this thread, there are people from the same hellhole who do not throw these self derogatory stories to advance in the white man's world. We have that yellow skin cos playing militant from Rivers who is a cfo. Do you think during board meetings Ibime is constantly reminding everyone I am from one of the most repressed states in South Africa we were oppressed by the government and oil companies. I swam 5 miles to school everyday through polluted rivers. I had to eat dead oily fish for survival.

I mean can she even advance on her own steam or will it forever be false rage about a made up story of suffering in Nigeria? Is that what politics is today? Rage bait and entertainment?

A lazy Google search has not confirmed if Malaysia has gas reserves. We do. And gas may require less processing than petrol.

The core issue here is we have allowed petrol to become practically the sole energy source because of subsisies.

I am not seeing the logic that will make me put cylinder at the back of my car because petrol is expensive
Life sef is very expensive, it's not mario that have unlimited lives
The force and the wave of the explosion is enough, imagine about 5 vehicles with CNG cylinder in close proximity with an explosion

Make God forgive me but all I think about this CNG na bad stuff, I haven't bring myself to think of the positives and that's because I know my people we are all in naija

Emilokan or those politicians won't put CNG in their official vehicles not even their convoy

my father refused to buy a petrol generator when we were growing up. he would only buy diesel gen. this is because multiple times he had to treat people with burns from petrol incidents. in fact we had a close family friend with five beautiful kids. they had been using their generator since chilhood. then one night they went to fill the gen with candle or a lantern. last born died, two handsome boys scarred horribly.

but i used a petrol generator. i stacked jerrycans to the ceiling angry. no matches in the house. no naked flame in the house, thick chemical jerry cans only. use light from car if you need light at night and gen is off.

same way a friend had his mothers car burnt as a child when a car hit his mothers car from behind when she was carrying a keg of petrol. guy said i can never carry petrol in my car.

the other day my neigbour with a solar installation had a fire. maybe wiring, maybe batteries - i dont know.

the real issue is not managing hazards and cutting corners .

but based on your experiences, would you say you lived in a dystopian hell hole? like you said - our parents did what they could . for the most part we never had any idea just how bad things were. thats why madam kemis stories sound like packaged BS to me. it is as we are older and looking back we may say things were hard. kids simply do not see it.

I think it's very possible. I didn't really realise we grew up poor till I was in secondary school and visiting my friends living in some huge houses in GRA and Mende. Some of these people I was actually meeting in London during summer holidays...but I was coming back to a 2 bed flat in Bariga to share with 5 siblings whilst they were going to opulence and luxury homes.

When my father eventually built his house, it was in Abule-egba in the late 90s - early 2000s. Moving there was like going on excursion. No roads. No transformer. No neighbours sef.

I genuinely thought I lived a decent life because my parents did an unbelievable job of shielding us from the reality of the trenches.

You can manage the hazard
How many people can?
Don't use phone while in the filling station and kitchen people do it alot
Not until something happens before people know the impact and gas in not a small hazard
If this government wants to really help, a taskforce should be created with a monthly check up and pass should be given to CNG power vehicles
Vehicles with no monthly pass should be seized abeg they are time bomb

Whether Kemi's story is true or made up, the koko is she has shown she doesn't want to have anything to do with Nigeria.

She is British and is only willing to identify with the UK, so make our people sef rest! U can't force people to like you or speak good about you.

The French president served in Nigeria as a diplomat and of his volition when he became the president he chose to identify with Nigeria, relived the good times he had here and even paid an unconventional visit to Femi Kuti's Afrikan Shrine.

Make we show love to who show love to us and make we dey our lane if we jam person like Kemi that wants to stay on her own lane.

Lol I don't have time for those kind of politics these days. My own concern is to try and be the next rung of the ladder for my family's social mobility.

Cos ultimately the aim of the game is to do better than my father and have my kids do better than me. I'm currently trying to save enough to send my kids to ths same private school my wife and brother in law attended, but schoolfees is 25k per academic year. If the 2nd one joins, we get a discount of 3k per student per year.

It would mean giving up a lot of the lifestyle touches I'm used to but that's the sacrifice my father made for me, and that's the sacrifice I want to try and make for my kids, cos ultimately in this particular country breeding and networking is absolutely everything... Hence the success of so many brown and black people in the Conservative Party

all abike dabiri did was common courtesy
you think macron likes trump who will obviously support putin?
it takes nothing from ms badench to acknowledge a diplomatic greeting. that is the spiteful nonsense we expect from entertainer politicians

she is not the first minority to make it into whiteys house. did obama start taking about how he is so grateful he is in America and not kenya or indonesia? why do you have to insult your roots? ironically it is the same poverty she is pretending to claim that gives immigrants a work ethic in the first place.

St Denis Church akoka is like a 2 minute work from Majok junction in Bariga

There used to be a gate at bottom of jolaosho St that we used to draw the boundary between akoko and bariga for banger wars as kids.
