In developed climes, you would hardly know the difference between night and day. Which principality is coming to attack you while you're casting a deck at 1:30 AM?

Every advanced society at some point had to acknowledge the superiority of better technology. Even if you cast concrete overnight with the wrong technology, it wont lead to anything significant.
