I like 2pac a lot and I will not hesitate to carve him atop the Mount Rushmore of all rap great. But 50 cent is my biggest rapper in his heyday. I like Eminem, I like Dr Dre and in great rap, I will pick Ice Cube over Andre 3000. But if it is great lyrics, I will take Andre 3000 over Ice Cube.

The battle should be between easy rappers and hardcore rappers, Dr Dre with his baritone rendition would easily be up their in hardcore rappers. The likes of Mase/Haleem World, Fabulous, Jadakiss, Pdiddy would all compete for a place among the easy rappers.

For the hardcore category... 2pac, Dr Dre and Eminem.
For the easy rappers... Pdiddy would take the top spot.

I find those words a bit off, time is limitless and and it's not limited to a particular epoch or era.

At a point in time, we had great men and women and after a while another greats came along so the talk about being the greatest ever, all time rapper and all that are just a way of soothing those supposedly greats egos.
