I'm eager to know: what actually is the criteria for revealing suspects' faces by the EFCC? Because most times, esp when foreigners are caught, the don't reveal their faces. But they do to nationals. Other times, they are told to be snapped faced back. ..I mean on the same degree of crime.

Do some enjoy better immunity than others? Does the law respect other people other than the "cant-be-arrested politicians" we already know?

More so, when there is an EFCC's raid, everyone within the scene is mostly apprehended with evidence, without evidence, judged by dressing, judged by fashion, judged by flamboyance...and they are very interested in emptying all your gadgets (which you may never see again )...and if you cannot pay the bribe on the spot, you are whisked away.


Even if you prove your legitimacy, you must still pay the bail bribe! And I'm not talking some few thousands! Unless you have some high ranking personalities to press release buttons on your behalf..


Those gadgets, who gets to use them after all? The arrestee doesn't anymore. So Mr Arrester, does it not make you more of a criminal if you use it?


I don't even want to talk about those they beat on the spot and try to coerce into submission!

I also don't wanna talk about how they barge in with no difference between a robber and their mode, as though taking words from the bible literally when it said "..it will come like a thief in the night "



If the EFCC is this corrupt, who is there to report to? Don't say the police..have you ever heard where they call sinners and mention the devil?

Someone said recently, the EFCC is unconstitutional, they were created by OBJ to intimidate opposition and anyone who did not agree with him.

I think I have also said it here, if the Chinese government arrest any Nigeria for small crime, they will reveal his face, names, passport and drag him around.

Our useless Police or EFCC will arrest a Chinese, they will hide his identity, and even help him to escape the country.

I guess it depends on your bribing proficiency

Currently, EFCC is primarily for the arrest and prosecution of yahoo boys. Look at those mugshots you uploaded and you'd agree with me.

It depends on the state.

Lagos State passed a legislation banning the parading and revealing of faces of suspects.

Law enforcement agencies comply most times and they don't at times (e.g when they took the mugshot of Bobrisky)

It has nothing to do with financial inducements.

A very interesting topic in my opinion.
I think the police have been banned from parading suspects as it violates their human rights since they have not been convicted.
But the EFCC is biased in my opinion.
They show the faces of the masses who are still suspects without showing the faces of politicians who are still suspects too.

I think the difference is quite clear from the pictures attached. At point of arrest their faces are not shown, after arraignment/conviction their faces are shown.

After proper investigation and if the court has found them guilty.

Though they always have the pictures with their face(s) already taken with them holding that placard. But they can only post that of their face only when the court has found them guilty.

Pay brine , they show your back , no bribe, Omo na your face go show ooooo. Bribe is the determining factor for showing face or showing back. Nigeria is a den of thieves , gangsters' Paradise.
